1. Ann Barnhardt speech on sexuality in Islam

2. Venice Italy plans museum to ‘islamic art’.

(I don’t understand the problem. An Islamic art museum can be housed in the average teacup cabinet. Representational art is strictly forbidden in Islam as well as music)

3. Ontario university defends decision to kick non-Muslim out of course that teaches Islamic preaching

The Huron College course — The Muslim Voice: Islamic Preaching, Public Speaking and Worship — was, according to the syllabus, “open to Muslim men and women who offer religious leadership and/or speak publicly about Islam on behalf of their communities.

A London, Ont., university is defending its decision to restrict access to a course that teaches Muslims how to proselytize.

(This course was devised by Ingrid Mattson. First convert to lead ISNA)

4. Pakistan: Karachi gunmen kill eight at faith healer’s home

Gunmen on motorbikes have shot dead eight people, including an eight-year-old girl and her father, at a faith healer’s house in the southern Pakistani port city of Karachi.

At least 12 other people were wounded in the shooting as dozens of people waited to see the Sufi cleric.

(BBC continues to speak of ‘sectarian violence’ when the truth is muslims killing everyone else)

5. Islamist leader says he will not contest elections, as Egypt has become ‘republic of fear’

(Not counting of course, the thirty million people out of a total population of 70M including men, women, children, the elderly and the infirm who  took to the streets for weeks to depose the Muslim Brotherhood, making it the largest peoples revolution of all time)

Thank you M, Wrath of Khan, Fjordman,  and all who sent links in. I am still reeling at the National post article item 3, which is of stunning proportions of dhimmitude.

  1. #3, re: “Ontario university defends decision to kick non-Muslim out of course that teaches Islamic preaching”

Here’s the course outline on Pastoral Theology 5235B:
The Muslim Voice: Islamic Teaching, Public Speaking, and Worship

    Course Description and Goals:

This course aims to improve the skills and knowledge of individuals who engage in one or more of the following three practices: 1) preaching in Islamic contexts 2) representing Muslims in public worship services and interfaith events 3) engaging in public speaking about Islam on behalf of Muslim communities.

  2. Doesn’t it just. You know, I was thinking about why Mary Shelley’s book, Frankenstein is a load of crap the other day. It occurred to me that there is no way you could possibly get a mob of people with pitchforks and torches to leave the comfort of their own home and actually have the raw guts and willingness to sacrifice for their community to go and fight a monster, no matter how ugly, huge and dangerous it is and how much of a threat it is to your children.

This course is proof of that. Along with a thousand other equivalent outrages.

  3. It is to weep. The only Canadian Anglicans I know seemed to be figuring it out, in the years immediately following 9/11, discovering that interfaith outreach went one way and one way only. When I talk to them now they are vague. ‘Muslims seem harmless enough,’ and then they change the subject.

That course outline says Pastoral Theology 5235B is ‘highly interactive.’ It was a great initiative on the part of Moray Watson to enroll. There was an opportunity not only to expose what Ingrid Mattson is doing in her indoctrination sessions, but to challenge both her and the Muslim students in the class on their dogma. If one could keep from smashing chairs against the wall and so on it could be fun. But I suppose you would have to anticipate being thrown out of the university for speaking truthfully about Islam. And you couldn’t expect much in the way of ‘collegial support from fellow students.’

  4. #1. I have just missed an appointment, completely mesmerised by the way this woman, (who is Ann Barnhard?) speaks and what she says, despite the fact that I was aware of much of what she says.

Disregard her seemingly fundamentalist Christian zeal – if you are not into that – and overlook the odd vulgarity – but watch it – she really brings it home. If you dont have the time, watch at least Part 3. – If you know people who are perhaps on the more naive/uneducated side, make them watch it.

  5. Frankenstein was a different time when the ;left hadn’t been spent a century working to emasculate the west.
