1. Swiss Vote to Curb Immigration in Referendum

(The Swiss have voted, apparently by a narrow margin, to stop the free movement within the EU to Switzerland ignoring EU threats. I wonder if they let Canadians and Americans vote on tightening immigration what they would get. Which is why they never will.)

2. Federal Agents Conduct Raid on ‘Machine Gun Preacher,’ ‘Totally Destroyed’ Charity’s Shipment

(They must be desperate to show ‘balance’ to bust a Christian minister with a container of children’s clothes)

3. Arabic #1 spoken language of refugees during Obama years

4. EU to force Britons to publish details of wills and property

(Nothing totalitarian Marxist about that at all. Nope. Nothing.)

5. Black residents reject Trader Joe’s because it would attract too many white people

(When the Obama admin said they where “post racial” I guess that meant fanatically racist but only against White people, and probably later, East Asians and Jews)

6. Corruption in Greece more the rule than the exception?

(This is another massive reason why the EU cannot work. They would require honest working people to pay for the massive corruption of South European nations etc.)

Thank you Proud Kafir, M, Fjordman, Van Grungy, Shabnam and all who sent in material. More to come this evening.

  1. 5/ ” Trader Joe’s bowed out amid the controversy.

“We run neighborhood stores, and our approach is simple: If a neighborhood does not want a Trader Joe’s, we understand, and we won’t open the store in question,” a company spokesperson said in a statement to The Oregonian.”

One whiff of that stew and Trader Joes’s wouldn’t touch it with a bargepole.

‘You will pay me?’ he inquired anxiously.

‘We will pay you fifty drachmas to take one of us to Metaloura and another fifty drachmas to bring that person back.’

Briefly the man’s eyes widened with astonishment at this lavish offer.

‘You wouldn’t give me fifty-five drachmas, would you?’ he inquired, but without much hope in his voice, for he realized that the price was a very large sum of money for such a simple task.

‘Oh, now, my soul,’ said Larry, ‘my golden one, you know I’m offering you a fair price and that I will not cheat you. Would you have it said that you would try and cheat us? You, a Greek, to strangers in your country?’

‘Never!’ said the fisherman, his eyes flashing, having forgotten the story of the Englishman he had cheated. ‘A Greek never cheats a foreigner in his country.’

  3. #1 UK radio and TV is full of jackbooted, brownshirt Eurocrats this morning making thinly veiled threats towards Switzerland along the lines of “Nice little business you have here…be a shame if anything happened to it…”.

But what they are really doing is threatening the UK as it moves closer towards a possible EU exit.

  4. The left supports free speech?

That is just another instance of newspeak that the left is so good at.
