1. Train terror plot suspect, Chiheb Esseghaier lashes out at ‘NATO colonization’ of Afghanistan

TORONTO — A Tunisian scientist awaiting trial for allegedly plotting a terrorist attack on a passenger train near Toronto lashed out at the Canadian government in an interview, accusing it of “colonizing” Afghanistan.

In an interview with the National Post, Chiheb Esseghaier did not directly admit he had conspired to derail a Toronto-bound Amtrak train but neither did he deny it, and he said Canada had started a “fire” by sending troops to Afghanistan.

(More accurately, Canada allowed a fire to be started when they allowed muslims to begin colonizing Canada and gave their beachheads and other political activities special status as religious practices)

2. Ukip MEP says British Muslims should sign charter rejecting violence

(Actually they should sign rejecting Islam, its central dogma and all Ikhwan connected organizations. It is also interesting that the Guardian still refers to Geert Wilders as ‘controversial’ even though he would win a majority in Dutch elections today)

3. Berkeley students must tweet on Islamophobia

[…]

Two weeks ago, I received a panicked message from a student enrolled at the University of California, Berkeley.

He wrote: “I’ve been told by one of my professors I will be required, as part of my grade, to start a Twitter account and tweet weekly on Islamophobia. I can’t help but feel this is unethical. This is his agenda not mine.”

The professor conducting this exercise was Hatem Bazian as part of a course titled, “Asian American Studies 132AC: Islamophobia”.

When I asked him to elaborate on his concerns the student wrote: […]

  1. SAUDI – ARABIA – Video of Quran teacher beating pupil under scrutiny in Saudi Arabia

The Holy Quran Memorization Organization (HQMO) is probing a video showing a teacher allegedly beating up pupils in a Quran memorization session held in the Quba Mosque.

In the video, the teacher appears to be holding a black spiral hose in his hands, which he uses to beat the seven pupils while they beg him to stop.

  2. The next few decades are going to be interesting with the UKIP and others gaining followers.

  3. 3/ Kid’s a bozo. First he choses Berkeley, which might be ok if for the savvy, but he’s not one of them. The full course title: “De-Constructing Islamophobia and the History of Otherness.”

    I rest my case.

  4. Hatem Bazian is a two trick pony who spends his life lamenting Israel and Islamophobia. He spends most of his time running around Calif giving speeches on Calif campuses, like ours down here at UC Irvine, where I teach part-time. He’s a boring speaker who reads his presentations off his lap top. With classes like his, a UCB graduate will spend the rest of his life flipping burgers.

    This is education today, Folks.

  5. 1/ And inevitably we need an academic expert on extremism, one of two, to tell us ‘the views expressed … are very typical of the worldview of religious fundamentalists and very comparable to what one might hear from a strident anti-abortion activist coming from a Christian perspective.’ Nothing specific to Islam about Esseghaier’s motivations, it’s a generic mental disorder that could express itself through any belief system.

  6. Typical U,K,I,P waffle ,they are”Sir Dufton Bufton “to a man, always trying to appear respectable and “British”.Thier esteemed leader regarded the Woolwich attocity as a “isolated incedent “like the daily grooming cases and terror attacks executed or foiled,
They have a home counties mentality and anyone who comes from a working class area is of less value than a City Gent like Farage,
