It is extremely rare that I disagree with Mr. Warner. The answer is to say no. That we do not use sharia law here in (wherever) we use common law or whatever. And that is all there is to it. They have the freedom to move to where sharia is in effect. Jews never asked other people not to eat pork, they only asked for the right to pick their own diets. A rational request. Muslims attempt to force their legal code on the rest of us. We should not need to, not and even probably shouldn’t at all, entertain sharia reasoning because when you play their game you lose by design.
The answer for all of us is to simply refuse. They can follow their own religious rules to the extent that it is convenient for the rest of us. But to apply islamic reasoning in our culture is suicide. They will always win. It is designed for them to win.
Freedom of religion was meant to prevent government persecution for people who name their gods differently than the ruling group. It was never meant to be a shield behind which the rest of the public can be forced to change in any way.?
My understanding of Mr. Warner’s message is that he did instruct non-Muslims to say “NO”, by familiarizing ourselves with shariah to undermine their efforts to enforce shariah upon non-Muslims. Perhaps if Dr. Warner would have included the shariah text which teaches the process of ‘make up’ prayers . . . his instruction on how to ‘say noto shariah by using shariah’ might have been more apparent.

Egypt to refer Canadian journalist to trial
Egypt’s chief prosecutor on Wednesday referred 20 journalists, including a Canadian, from the Al-Jazeera TV network to trial on charges of allegedly joining or assisting a terrorist group and spreading false news that endangers national security.

Egyptian prosecutors refer Al Jazeera journalists to criminal court
Egyptian prosecutors referred on Wednesday four foreign Al Jazeera journalists and 16 Egyptians, including Peter Greste, Mohmed Fadel Fahmy and Baher Mohamed, to criminal court.
The 16 Egyptian defendants face charges including belonging to a terrorist organisation, harming national unity and social peace, and using terrorism as a means to their goals.
The staff members and journalists of Al Jazeera were arrested in late December following interior ministry accusations of illegally broadcasting from a hotel suite.
