1. European Court Undermining British Sovereignty

The new president of the ECHR, Judge Dean Spielmann, threatened in June 2013 that if Britain did not adhere to European human rights laws, it could face being ejected from the European Union altogether.

2. Mali arrests Islamist judge who ordered amputations and stonings

BAMAKO (Reuters) – Mali’s army has arrested a hardline Islamist judge who ordered floggings, amputations and the stoning of women for adultery during a 10-month occupation by rebels linked to al Qaeda.

Houka Houka Ag Alfousseyni, who held court in the Timbuktu region, was detained on Friday as part of a military operation against armed Islamist groups that are plaguing local communities, the government said in a statement.

3. A New “Animal Farm” Targets Capitalism

andyActor Andy Serkis is set to direct an upcoming movie adaptation of George Orwell’s classic novel Animal Farm. But there will be a slight deviation from the story’s original focus: rather than serve as a cautionary tale about Communist totalitarianism, this updated version will address Hollywood’s predictable, go-to embodiment of evil, the Darth Vader of our time: corporate greed.

(an all too good example of how the Frankfurt school, commie narrative has become the culture)

Good news. Hopefully we’ll be kicked out and then we can do our own thing.

  3. In tense Baghdad, a wave of deadly blasts (CNN, Jan 18, 2014)
    http://cnn.it/1meKwk5
“At least 19 people were killed in bombings in Baghdad on Saturday evening, police said. The deadliest blast was caused by a car bomb that exploded near a Western-style mall in the western Mansour district, killing at least six people. At least 13 other people died in six other incidents across the city, Iraq’s capital. At least 74 people were wounded in the Baghdad bombings — six car bombs and one roadside bomb. Baghdad police officials said that gunmen broke out 23 prisoners from the Tobchi juvenile prison in Baghdad and that two police officers were killed and three wounded. But that report was contradicted by Labor Minister Nassar al-Rubaie, who said on state TV that no prisoners escaped. The Labor Department runs the juvenile prison. Earlier Saturday, at least one person was killed and 11 others were wounded when two explosive devices detonated in the northern Iraqi city of Kirkuk, the city’s police said. The attack targeted a marketplace in the southern part of the city, police said…”

The dumbing-down process has reached it’s intended conclusion and the people of the West are now so incredibly stupid that you can simply take away their rights without them even noticing. Believe me, if anybody had suggested 50-years-ago that some other power – be it Muslim Imams or EU politicians – should be allowed to override Parliament and establish their own laws, people would have absolutely gone through the roof. Now? People are ready to accept absolutely anything the mainstream tells them is OK. They might grumble, but they’ll surely let it pass. The term “sheeple” is, if a bit hackneyed, 100% accurate.

I wonder what they’re hiding? They even tell you that there is video of the whole thing, but you ain’t allowed to see it. No description of any of the participants either. The media is so comfortable with the idea that they aren’t there to report the news, only to control how we react to it. If a fact contrasts with their narrative, they simply leave it out. They are treating us like children as they cover our eyes and say, “Don’t look, little one. You aren’t adult enough to handle this and you’ll only keep us awake with your crying and sniffling. Leave it to the adults, little boy…”

  6. 3/ I’m glad he’s British, so at least we won’t have to read how the ignorant vulgar illiterate Yanks have travestied a classic of English literature.

  7. Chris they are doing all they can to bury the story so they can continue to support gun control.
