If Australia had refused to allow Muslim immigration 25 years ago, so brainless Australian women who wanted to marry Lebanese Muslims had to move to Lebanon, and Amira had been born and grown up there, perhaps she would have been more immune to radicalization, keener on running away from the madness than toward it. Or her mother might have smartened up in Beirut.
