2/ There are complications here that arise from not being able to clearly distinguish our allies from our enemies. Canada cannot really afford to be blind to ‘religious’ affiliation. Who in his right mind would trust a Muslim Canadian ambassador to Israel to put Canada’s interests before the ummah’s? Or before those of the ‘Palestinians,’ or before the interests of his country of origin? Who would trust a Muslim Canadian ambassador to a Muslim country, or in fact to any country at all? An ambassador cannot be a practicing Muslim and a trustworthy Canadian because the two sets of values and interests are radically different.
3/ Does the photo really have to be of local hijabis who ‘expressed their disgust and disbelief?’ And in the news clip. As though the affair weren’t sickening enough.
@ don c: And this media outlet is not even the local BBC (ABC) – but a commercial station. You have no idea how the whole media (with at best 2 or 3 exceptions) are manipulating the uncritical herd into regarding hijabis and allah-u-akbarists as “normal” part of Australian society. Quite sickening. So far they muslims represent officially 1.5 – 2 percent of the population.

@ Rita, the manipulation is so crude and transparent here one might hope (I hope) that it has the opposite to the intended effect on Australian viewers.
Canada is headed towards making anti-Semitism politically correct.
@ Softly Bob: they are doing even better in Brittain than in OZ
@ don c: dont underestimate the stupidity of the herd! 🙁
@ Richard: Europe has already past the point of non-return and at the UN Jew Hatred has become politically obligatory if you want to keep your snout in the through.
