Jihadists kill 31 rebels in Syria: monitor

Fighting flared on Friday between rebels and forces loyal to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, an Al-Qaeda affiliate that moved into Syria amid the armed uprising against President Bashar al-Assad in late spring last year.

It began when rebels, including Islamists, attacked checkpoints and bases manned by ISIL, which is accused of horrific abuses against other insurgents, activists and civilians in areas where they operate.

ISIL has also been accused of seeking hegemony by taking key roads and checkpoints from its rivals, and some Assad opponents have even accused it of serving regime interests.

  1. I don’t know what to say anymore now that the United States is fighting on the side of the Muslim Brotherhood. I just don’t know what to say. Am I supposed to cheer for al-Qaeda now? Is this like in WWII when suddenly the Russians became our friends? Are we all rooting for the Caliphate now? Are they replacing all the Abe Lincoln portraits in American schools with Osama bin Laden pictures? I just don’t know what to say. Are we the anti-Christian forces now and is The Leader of the Free World (Vladimir Putin) now going to come out as the savior of Christianity – over the objections of the anti-Christian West? What’s going on? Gee, it wouldn’t be that Big-Ears Hussein really is a Manchurian Candidate, would it?

  3. Obama and the left has left a power vacuum in the Middle East, one that there is really no one that can fill it at the moment. The Iraqi government had no choice but to sign on with the Iranians to offset the al Qaeda groups that were infiltrating Iraq with the goal of conquest in mind.

Despite what the people living in fantasy .and think the abdication of American power has made the world a much more dangerous place, one that is going to move to a wide spread war with many sides. During this war all civilized nations will be hurt and some will disappear, either disappear as free nations or be absorbed by neighbors because the left has destroyed the culture that held the nations together.
