Egypt names Muslim Brotherhood a terrorist group

I guess this means half the White House Staff would be arrested upon landing in Egypt. Let’s hope Canada follows suit.

From Yahoo News:

Egyptians attend the funeral of a dozen policeman and a civilian killed from an explosion at a police headquarters, in the Nile Delta city of Mansoura, 110 kilometers (70 miles) north of Cairo, Egypt, Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2013. A powerful blast tore through a police headquarters in an Egyptian Nile Delta city early Tuesday, killing more than a dozen, wounding more than 100 and leaving victims buried under rubble in the deadliest bombing yet in a months-long wave of violence blamed on Islamic militants. No one immediately claimed responsibility for the bombing, which came a day after an al-Qaida-inspired group called on police and army personnel to desert or face death at the hands of its fighters. CAIRO (AP) — Egypt’s military-backed interim government on Wednesday declared the Muslim Brotherhood a terrorist group, criminalizing all its activities, its financing and even membership to the group from which the country’s ousted president hails.

The announcement is aimed at crippling the Brotherhood and poses a dramatic escalation of the fight between the government and group, which has waged near-daily protests since the July 3 popularly backed military coup that toppled President Mohammed Morsi.

  1. A decade after 9/11, the Obama administration helps install Al Qaeda’s mothership in Egypt. Over vigorous U.S. objections, the Egyptians uninstall them, then call them what anyone paying the least attention knows they are, a terrorist organization.

This terrorist organization has innumerable branch offices in the U.S. busy every day undermining American security, and for many years has so craftily influenced the media, the universities and the government, concealed their name and nature and used political correctness to such advantage, that most Americans even now are probably unaware they exist. That has to be changed.

  2. I pray the rest of the world will follow suit, but am afraid that the left will prevent this rational action.
