The DHS placed Ayo Kimathi on administrative leave back in August after the Southern Poverty Law Center linked the federal employee of four years to War on the Horizon, a website that claims to be “preparing Black people worldwide for an unavoidable, inevitable clash with the white race.” Now according to a report published on Tuesday this week by Alex Seitz-Wald for the National Journal, the DHS has done little to officially relieve Kimathi of his duties even after being explicitly tied to the website and identified as the administrator who uses the pseudonym “the Irritated Genie.”

  1. #2 Warriors eat meat.

I have to conclude that Norwegian soldiers are not warriors.

The word soldiers and salary are derived from the same root word. SALT. Maybe being a soldier is more of a 9 to 5 5 position at a company. When there is a hostile takeover they negotiate a severance package or employment with the new boss and tell their erstwhile former employers, the Norwegian people “So sorry, but these people offer a better package.”

I see them rather more like mercenaries of the Great Mercenary companies that fought for city states in Renaissance Italy. At times these companies would not fight for their employers. The Captains would get together and make a behinds the scenes agreement and one side would win after an “All Star Wrastling” type fight.

  2. Italy: Month’s jail requested for Daniela Santanchè over anti-burqa protest

Milan, 19 Nov. (AKI) – Prosecutors in the northern Italian city of Milan have asked a court to give conservative lawmaker Daniela Santanche a one-month jail term and a 100-euro fine for holding an unauthorised protest against the Islamic burqa in 2009.

The prosecutors also ordered Egyptian Ahmed El Badry to pay a 2,000 euro fine for punching Santanche in the chest during the demonstration on 20 September 2009 at the end of the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan.

Santanche, a staunch supporter of ex-premier Silvio Berlusconi, organised the protest against the head-to-toe burqa worn by observant Muslim women, which she called ”a portable prison”.

Santanche told the court she and her bodyguards attended the prayer meeting on the last day of Ramadan to “verify with my own eyes whether or not Muslim women were respecting Italian law, which says you can’t walk around in public with your face covered”.

She is due to be sentenced on 2 December.
