This should bring tears of joy to everyone’s eyes. A people confident enough in their own religious, culinary and cultural traditions that they actually protest those who would seek to obliterate it and even the memory of it. If they can do it, what in the world is wrong with all of us?

  5. Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed into law a bill that forces relatives of terrorists to pay for damages caused by their attacks. It also boosts penalties for launching, participating, or financing militant or terrorist groups.

    Under the law, all damages – including moral damage – should be compensated “at the expense of the means of the person committing the terrorist act and also at the expense of the means of his [or her] family, relatives and close people.”

    The term “close people” refers to those whose lives, health, and well-being are valued by the terrorist, due to the terrorist’s personal relationships with the individuals.

  6. It seems we are starting to get a little help from the Asians. Unlike us, they seem to know that Islam is nothing but trouble and they don’t want it to ruin their lives. If somebody draws a cartoon, they don’t want a thousand lunatics to burn down the city over it. They don’t want “Sharia Police” patrolling the streets at night and beating up people who displease them. They don’t want the inevitable pressure to ban pork and alcohol and to institute Sharia Law. And they don’t want bearded assholes looking at their women and thinking of them as sluts, thank you very much!
