3. Facebook page of the man who is prosecuting a 14 year old girl for waving a banana. Notice (once you click translate) how the language of political correctness and double-speak permeates this page. And people call him courageous for being an agent of the current set of memes.

4. Check this blog post by Allen West. The video will be familiar to Vlad readers but his post on it is good.

5. Kelly Booed Off Stage During Talk

(So the man who has brought crime in NYC to its lowest point in 50 years is shouted off stage before he can even speak. I do get that its possible that a policy can be effective and still not be desirable because the medicine is worse than the disease. I would say US NSA policy of 4th amendment violations is a great example of that. But that this man was not even given a chance to speak and the audience was denied a chance to ask direct questions about the policies that they didn’t like was classic neo-leftist tactics. not meant to help but to destroy and control) Videos here.

7. Genocide of Hindus in East Pakistan, 1971, Highlighted in New Book

According to official Bangladeshi government figures, three million Bengalis were killed and 200,000 women raped by the Pakistan army during nine months in 1971. Figures vary wildly, but no one denies that genocide took place, with entire villages razed to the ground, and ten million refugees fleeing into neighboring India at the time.

The genocide has been forgotten by most Westerners, yet we live with the issue today in both greater and smaller ways. […]

8. FBI to Lavabit founder: ‘Do you really think users trust you over us?’

“By taking these keys from me they were able to unlock everything coming in and out…gaining access to email content, passwords, and credit card numbers,” Levison told The Daily Caller in an interview. The keys allowed the FBI to “masquerade” as Levison himself, giving the agency administrative access to his system.

  1. Yet another variation of Muslim on Muslim crime.

Salafists ‘killed in rocket attack on Yemen mosque’ (BBC, Oct 30, 2013)
    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-24749464
“At least four people have been killed and several others wounded in an attack on a mosque in a Salafist-controlled town in northern Yemen, reports say.

Local Sunni leaders said Zaidi Shia rebels, known as Houthis, had fired rockets at a mosque in Dammaj, in Saada province, during midday prayers.

The rebels had besieged the town for weeks, demanding the departure of foreign religious students, they added.

Dammaj has seen frequent clashes between Houthis and Salafist students…”

  2. #4 “Tolerance and apathy are the last two virtues of a dying society.”

That’s going up on the wall.

  3. #1 It’s true, as commenters on the Bangkok Post page say, that the two-fingers is a standard Asian-girl-posed-for-a-picture sign, but it is very hard to imagine that its use here, in surgical gloves in front of a corpse, is innocent. Those nurses should be looking for other employment, not looking at some next-to-nothing disciplinary action

  4. #5 This whole controversy about snooping “too much” is an interesting new wrinkle on the “by their own hands” strategy.

People think “by their own hands” means infiltration, exploitation and sabotage of our values and systems of governance.

But here we see “our hand” is in fact them using how we react to them against us.

That is a favorite muslim terrorist strategy.

PLO did it against Israel. Palestinians were making good livings working in Israel. So the PLO started a bombing campagn. Israel reacted by 1) hiring from abroad instead of palestinians- thus lowering the living standards of palestinians- thus making them less happy with their lot and more likely to side with the PLO and 2) The PLO used the tighter controlled checkpoints as a new casus belli.

Same deal with Hamas and the wall.

The stealth jihadist and Subversive Imam Rauf did the same thing. Tried to put up a mosque at ground zero. sparked the inevitable reaction, then exploited that reaction with all manner of propoganda stunts to try and marginalize people who don’t like terrorists. (didn’t work)

And so on and so on.

They goad us to do something, then try to use how we react as a weapon against us.

It seems the trick is to figure out what they want us to do and then do something different.

The development of an educated generation of women in Afganistan is just such a reaction as is the drone program. That’s why the taliban and Al Quada hate both of those things so much. Neither reaction plays into their hands.

  5. #8 “FBI to Lavabit founder: ‘Do you really think users trust you over us?’

And the FBI wanted a lot more access than to just one account, Levison said. “I had an FBI agent that came to my home office saying that they wanted to collect content, wanted to collect passwords. I could not in good conscience turn over these keys and let them have unaudited access.”

According to Levison, the worst part was being under court-sanctioned gag order, leaving him unable to explain his self-described “existential crisis” to customers. “How do you fight a law that nobody knows exists?” said Levison, “I was having trouble sleeping. It was a huge problem for me ethically.”

Instead of willfully handing over the SSL keys, Levison went to court, but he was eventually ordered to comply, with a $5,000 per day penalty if he refused.

So in August, Levison suspended the operations of his company indefinitely — a decision that led to contempt of court charges against him. Levison told TheDC that he did not technically have to shut down operations but was “forced by [his] moral code” to do so.”

The moral code that Socialists and Islamists want to break.

  6. I don’t know what the Judge was really thinking when she made ‘stop-and-frisk’ end. It could be that New York State sees the ‘writing on the wall’ when it comes to the constitutionality of Concealed Carry and Shall Issue Permitting. With Supreme Court rulings on the 2nd Amendment and also the recent Illinois slap down, New York can’t resist the Rule of Law forever. By striking down the clearly unconstitutional stop-and-frisk the Judge has given the criminals and the court system a grace period for growth before Citizens arm themselves as is their God given right.
