Small group of well intentioned misinformed Ottawa youth agitate for policies that would likely cause mass starvation.

This is not on topic and probably not worth the time for most of you. But Ottawa man-on-the-street videographer Victor Laszlo sent this footage in of a protest by what look like some well intentioned but badly informed university students at Parliament hill, who want a total ban on GM foods or at least a labeling of them. This much I agree with. We all have the right to know what we are buying and what we are eating even if its for amazingly stupid reasons. But since Victor took the time and trouble to take the footage and send it in, and since this is a pet peeve of mine, I decided to edit it and post it. For more information on GM foods, where they came from and who made them please watch this most excellent episode of Penn & Teller’s Bullshit which I will post as an embed below this short interview.

Again, this is off topic and probably not worth your time. But here it is for interested parties.

To get right to the point in the Penn & Teller episode please scroll forward to about 11:00 minutes.

  1. It would be easier to defeat Islam if a billion or so starved to death. Cheap abundant food in the third world has em breeding like rabbits.
