  1. Since we are siding with Islam in their drive for the Mahdi there is no point in upsetting them anymore.

  2. One reason that journalistic organizations have the economic freedom in the market place is because of stickiness or friction.

    Economists actually use those terms. They borrowed the term friction from physics most likely.

    Rush Limbaugh elucidated what is going on. Per Rush many people who place advertisements are college grads, who are going to place ads in the politically correct newspapers regardless of circulation and effectiveness of the ads. When the going gets tough they will cry uncle and when the pressure eases they will go back to what they believe.

    So while ads placement should reward or punish circulation swings, in the PC world it is used to prop up the MSM. So a process that should have taken a few years or 2 decades at most might take 2 or 3 generations. The people who place ads are causing the friction in the market place.

    That explains one part of the inertia. Another part as we all know is the freaking PC management.

  3. Absolutely disgusting. Even the term “terrorist” when it was more widely used, is several coats of whitewash from the real truth of the matter.
