1. More UK muslims arrested for gang rape of children. (Where is a Dalek when you need one?)
2. MANILA, Philippines (4th UPDATE) — At least 300 suspected members of the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) have taken over 4 barangays in Zamboanga City Monday, September 9, Mayor Maria Isabelle “Beng” Climaco told Rappler.
(I am trying to understand who this group is, as distinct from MILF, the Islamic group. I suspect not distinct at all)
3. France unveils controversial ‘secularism charter’
France has unveiled its much-awaited “secularism charter” for schools which bans pupils from boycotting classes for religious or political reasons and promotes “total respect for the freedom of conscience”.

re: 4.
so they intercepted the order.
will they sit back and stuff all a second time?
I have always maintained that France will lead the fight back. The time will come after Western troops are no longer occupying Muslim countries.
France has led the way in the burqa ban, which the UK is going to vote on. It may even become EU law, which will be better as national governments can hide behind EU law. And now “militant” secularism.
#2 I agree that the two parties are probably very close, the Moros have been a pain in the butt for the Philippines for an incredibly long time, in the 1800s they would go on slaving raids into Indonesia and were for all practical purposes free from Spanish control. During the US pacification of the Philippines they fought long and hard to maintain their traditional businesses of slaving and piracy, and had most of the non Moro villages living in terror. In the 1950s they sided with the communists and waged a guerrilla war against the Philippine government.
