  1. Love to find out exactly what kind of officer that “retired” US officer is. If it’s CIA then he isn’t really retired.

  2. RE the list. This was before Obama was elected. I would be very interested to see that list now. Just to make sure it’s not the same list Al Quada and the Muslim Brotherhood have.

  3. Wesley Clark was political as a general. He just is open about it now.

He was involved in a scandal in Yugoslavia and forced to retire. Clinton must have covered for him.

Don’t now what the scandal was over but the usual is sex or money.

Most flag officers are political. They won’t state a party, but they all have their backers in the service, in the Pentagon and in Congress.

  4. General Hugh Shelton would say of Clark during his 2004 campaign that “the reason he came out of Europe early had to do with integrity and character issues, things that are very near and dear to my heart. I’m not going to say whether I’m a Republican or a Democrat. I’ll just say Wes won’t get my vote.”[93] Shelton never elaborated further on what these issues were.

  5. Somewhat confused mini-docu about conflict between Buddhists and Muslims in Burma. Still worth watching and especially listening to.

Monk accused of anti-Muslim Burmese campaign (BBC/Video, Aug 29, 2013)
    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-23874521
“A Buddhist monk has been accused of stoking religious tensions leading to the persecution and even the deaths of members of the Muslim minority in Myanmar, formerly known as Burma.

Shin Wirathu leads the 969 campaign which aims to force people not to use Muslim businesses.

Many are blaming him and the nationalist organisation he helps, for inciting violence against Muslims in Sagaing in the north of the country.

The BBC’s Jonah Fisher has travelled to the monastery where he teaches in Mandalay.”

  6. After what took place in Kosovo with Wesley Clark nearly starting a third world war with China, India and Russia I don’t care what he says he is not credible

It has been a general understanding between the West and USSR or Russia, that nothing should be done that would get the two sides directly confronting each other – the risk of an all out nuclear war was too high to warrant playing such games.

Wesley Clark, OIC in the illegal war over Kosovo, ordered British general Michael Jackson to confront Russian troops already in Pristina. Jackson refused.

  8. The Balkans are in a sorry state due to the actions of Gen Clark , Slick Willie the EU and NATO. This pompous blowhard now along with Ms. Albright and others are raking in the cash, they have financial interests throughout the Balkans. The phony war to break up The Federal Republic Of Yugoslavia was a windfall for the IMF and the multinational corporations.

  9. Wesley Clark got his position in the Balkans as payback for illegally using US military forces to help the various police types at the Waco massacre.
