1. Now this is interesting. From January 29 2013 Daily Mail:

UPDATE: Evidence has been inserted into the comments indicating that this story is not correct and that the DM published a retraction of it

U.S. ‘backed plan to launch chemical weapon attack on Syria and blame it on Assad’s regime’

  • Leaked emails have allegedly proved that the White House gave the green light to a chemical weapons attack in Syria that could be blamed on Assad’s regime and in turn, spur international military action in the devastated country.

  1. U.S. ‘backed plan to launch chemical weapon attack on Syria and blame it on Assad’s regime’

The article won’t load. The article opens normally then the page goes to another saying “Address not valid”.

If it’s valid then of course it is completely outragious and heads must roll.

Then again the British press is noticably less than vigilant about publishing propoganda from just about anyone.

If you can figure out how to show the whole artilce sot it can be evaluated then that would be great.

  2. STOP THE PRESSES!!!!

I first got suspicious when an article about this on a hacking related new site said that Britam defence was using not the best internet defence software and haddn’t even secured their emails. It seemed pretty hard to believe about an international security company. – Also it’s a sign of propoganda when there is a flimsy excuse as to why something improbable has happened.

So I dug a little bit and found a court document where The Daily Mail confirms that they found the emails to be forgeries and issued a retraction.

    http://www.carter-ruck.com/Documents/Britam-Statement_in_Open_Court-100613.pdf

Carter Ruck ( http://www.carter-ruck.com ) , Britam Defence’s Law firm in this case, has a reputation for libel law.

So the emails were forgeries and were not sent by people at Britam Defence.

Probably cooked up by the Russians. Fair play and you can’t fault them for supporting allies. You can fault the Daily Mail though. Like much of the British press, they didn’t exhibit good judgment and weren’t dilligent in determining the validity of the story.

  3. I don’t believe the US or Britian would EVER stage a real chemical weapons attack on civilians in order to create a justification for entering the war on the side of the “rebels”.

I do, however, strongly believe we are not above creating a fake story about Assad using chemical weapons in order to justify assisting the “rebels”.

And I also believe %100 that the “rebels” would stage a real chemical attack on civilians in order to blame Assad.

  4. Watching the guy’s YouTube channel uploads confirmed my suspicion. This guy’s a potential Nidal Hassan.

  5. Even the Islamic community is worried about him. A mosque in Portland refused to allow him to enter because he has had “outbursts”. Are they worried that he’s a nut who’s about to go full jihad….or do they think he’s an agent provocateur? I think he sounds like a nut. He says that he spoke out about “injustice” once and they called the police on him. Isn’t this what happened to Tsarnaev? Watch videos titled “00428”, “00427” and others. There are several filmed out in front of the mosque.

  6. #1 this was floating around before Alex Jones and then other parts of the press got it?

I would not turn a blind eye to it, but I definitely would not jump either.

There is a reason Alex Jones got fired and had to go solo.

I see Obama as more passive or more cowardly on the world stage. I definitely see him as more concerned with maintaining power at home in America for him and his party than worrying about foreign policy.

His team knows how to get out the vote, stuff the bsallot box and propagandize and not much else. SEE Samantha Powers Mrs R2P herself in the flesh

getting UN Ambassadorship and then missing meetings after less than 3 weeks on the job

  7. #1 is absurd beyond belief. Utter nonsense. Read the alleged mails – they’re ridiculous. It’s more or less ” hey, guys. FYI – We’re going to organise a fake chemical attack that the Qataris will pay for. They wants us to provide the bombs – LOL. Can we sort it before the close of business today?”

It’s the most pathetic fake email I’ve ever seen. I can’t believe Vlad Tepes has stooped so low to publish it.

  8. The Middle East, like Viet Nam is a tar baby. If we keep on being involved in this nonsense we might find IED’s planted along our streets. Oh wait! Isn’t that what the Boston Marathon bombing was?

  9. #3 That is part of the purpose of spec ops, you can send them in black and hopefully keep it quite, however Obama is abusing the ability by helping our enemies learn how to destroy us.

Oldguy you are right, the Moslems are bringing the war to the US which Charlie never did.

  10. Truthiocity……

Looks to me like the Mail could have withdrawn it’s allegation through fear of potential legal action. If all court decisions had any relation to truth we might be living in a better world.
Anyone who has seen reporters arrested in England and witnessed hours of endless news reports regarding “phone hacking” which are just excuses for litigation to make money will know the press are very worried about any suggestion that they may be hacking any kind of media in the present climate.Legally if they don’t have enough “evidence” it is safer to withdraw.
