  1. #2 This has been known for years, never say anything over a cell phone that you don’t want the feds to know.

#4 I wonder what the cause of the fire was?

  2. Eeyore, as promised, I have had a quick check up on Lyscenkoism, and yes, I have used the idiot’s bible (wikipedia), so I stand to be corrected, but I would like to advance the following points:
The film states that evolutionary theory gave MARX a platform to attack Christianity through an alternative to divine creation, which as far as I can see is true, seeing that the theory was published in 1856 and both Marx and Darwin died in the early 1880s. Lyscenkoism not being advanced until 1920.
Lysconkoism seems to be another one of these crackpot theories arrived at to, in effect deify the state, putting the government, the collective above God and nature, it didn’t matter whether it worked or not, so long as it made the state, the collective, the soviet the fount of all knowledge, the arbiter of all that is right and good.
That notwithstanding, Darwinism was and still is the main avenue of attack on Christianity throughout all that period in the public discourse, and Marxism existed outside the Soviet Union, and could be distinct from Leninism, so I can’t see that the statement that was made in the film was so dishonest or disingenuous as to warrant the reaction that it did from yourself. I hope you don’t think I’m ‘having a go’ dear Eeyore, I like your site, I visit several times a day, and I have a high degree of respect for the hard work and dedication that you put into it, but I am at a bit of a loss as to your knee jerk reaction to what, on the face of it seems an accurate statement

  3. #2 XKeyscore: NSA tool collects ‘nearly everything a user does on the internet’

    • XKeyscore gives ‘widest-reaching’ collection of online data
    • NSA analysts require no prior authorization for searches
    • Sweeps up emails, social media activity and browsing history

A top secret National Security Agency program allows analysts to search with no prior authorization through vast databases containing emails, online chats and the browsing histories of millions of individuals, according to documents provided by whistleblower Edward Snowden.

The NSA boasts in training materials that the program, called XKeyscore, is its “widest-reaching” system for developing intelligence from the internet.
