1. Notice how many people have been arrested for several ‘attacks’ on mosques (A tiny exploding battery set outside the perimeter of a huge building that did no damage to anything and wasn’t even noticed till 2 days later is hardly a bomb) yet none of them have been named. We have a pretty solid idea that the arson people were muslims on an insurance job though.

2. Peaceful Jordan seems to have figured out that whatever it is the US is actually doing, it is probably screwing it over. At this stage I wouldn’t trust the Obama admin to pay it’s half for lunch. (H/T Richard)

3. While riots in Egypt have become about as newsworthy as bombs going off in Iraq, it is interesting that despite staggering opposition to the fascist theocratic government of Morsi, the USA has decided not only to continue to support him but to send US troops to defend his gov’t from protestors while pretending to neutrality.

4. Muslim man demands ‘right’ to bring his second wife to Ireland.

5. ElBaradei makes call for nationwide uprising against Mursi

ElBaradei, a Nobel peace laureate and former chief of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), said in a video message released on Saturday that President Musi has “failed” in leading the nation toward a proper democratic path following the Jan. 25, 2011 revolution.

6. Illegal muslim immigrant makes mad lunge for British pensioner in hospital in unprovoked attack, attempts to kill him. There are quite a few interesting little sidebars in this story if you read slowly and think about it. Like this one:

Handcuffed detainee patients are usually put in their own side room but there were none available

7. A month after her 15th birthday, she told police that one of her abusers, Akhtar Dogar, was forcing her to have sex with him and other men.

But instead of following up these allegations, she said officers threatened to arrest her for wasting police time.  H/T DP111

  1. June 29th 2013 – TURKEY – Thousands hold anti-government demo in Istanbul

Thousands gathered in Istanbul’s Taksim Square on Saturday to protest against the harsh police treatment of demonstrators whose anti-government rallies have rocked the country for nearly a month.

Riot police blocked off the centre of the square, the symbolic heart of the nationwide protest movement, for some two hours as the demonstrators chanted “Government, resign!”

  2. EGYPT Pro-Morsi Islamists’ sit-in at mosque gets comfortable on 2nd day

Thousands of Islamists are still gathered in Rabaa Al-Adawiya Square for day two of a sit-in to support President Mohamed Morsi ahead of major opposition protests to oust him on 30 June.

The demonstrators, now only men, continue to sing, dance and chant in support of the Brotherhood-fielded president.

Donations are being collected for the Free Syrian Army, who are fighting President Bashar Al-Assad’s army, in boxes set at the street cafeteria set up to cater to the demonstrators.

A field hospital was also established, although no injuries were received. A few did seek medical care due to low blood pressure from the 35 degree heat.

Street vendors sell t-shirts reading “Yes to legitimacy” and banners emblazoned with pro-Morsi messages.

  3. #2 You can trust Obama to do anything and everything that will hurt the West.

#3 We use to hear actions speak louder then words a lot, we don’t hear it much but Obama’s actions tell us volumes about his loyalties and goals. He is loyal to Islam and the Ikwan, and he intends to see Islam conquer the world.
