Imams of Sacramento’s two biggest mosques declare music forbidden by Muhammad

Jihad Watch:

“It’s a chain reaction – when people listen to music, they ask for alcohol, which will lead to adultery.” Yep. Happens every time. “Music has magic, it gets in your blood and makes you want to get up and dance and forget your personality. Your butt is shaking and she’s going to get up and her butt is going to shake – where is the religion then?” Where indeed? That’s why Muhammad — and Lenin — hated music.

  1. I can’t find the exact Hadith, but the reason that music is banned is because it can have a softening effect on the listener’s heart. It’s hard enough to get some goat farmer to chop a baby in two or burn down someone’s house with them still inside it, let alone expect them to do it after listening to some beautiful, uplifting music. We are not here to amuse ourselves, we are here to obey the will of Allah!

  2. I guess that the rock group The Clash was wrong in their hit song, one of the lines said ” by order of the prophet rock the Casbah”. The real problem with the Imams and the clerics is that the make the rules and change them at their whim. They are trapped in the 7th century.

  3. In a story from the nordic mythology, Thor was wresled down by an elderly lady. He had challenged the time and couldn’t win. The muslims have challenged the music – they can never win!

  4. This is, for sure, an example of encroaching Sharia.

However, as soon as this story gets out, there will be many people in the US who will excuse it because there is a large Christian denomination called The Church of Christ who completely forbid dancing and listening to any music other than Religious music.

  5. You heard it, Muslims. Obey, Allah.
I suggest that you bugger and behead Cat Stevens immediately!

  6. Pastorius the Christians in the Churches that don’t like music or dancing only want to stop the music in their Churches and Church socials, not everywhere.
