Deadly blasts shake Syrian capital

Two suicide bombers have struck the heart of the Syrian capital Damascus, killing at least 14 people and wounding at least 31 others, pro-government television channel al-Ikhbariya has reported.

Al Jazeera’s Rula Amin reports live from neighbouring Beirut, Lebanon.

  3. If you stop and think about it you will realize that it is very hard to stop someone that is willing to die in order to kill other people.

  4. Right, Richard. It is about not being at the wrong place at the wrong time. The Japanese had their Kamikaze-pilots, but the Muslim suicide killers are much more dangerous and a part of the strategy to make us scared.

  5. If they can keep up the pressure and we continue to refuse to fight back they will win because people will slowly start doing what they want to get some peace.
