4. Tommy Robinson does excellent interview with BBC radio for which the BBC was criticized. Interestingly, when Tommy doesn’t do well in an interview or is set up in an ambush interview, there is never a problem with him getting media.

5. A video has surfaced allegedly showing a group of muslims attacking some girls in Ashton under Lyme last night. As a consequence there are rumours of potential street violence and people are being advised to avoid the area.

  1. 2.
Take a look at the sacred vagina video. If you notice the first man who sticks his inside and kisses it, (the one who the soldier moves away) you will see that he doesn’t have a beard, in fact he doesn’t look like a Muslim at all. I wonder if he is another stupid White convert.

  2. 73 Turkish lawyers detained for supporting protests: report

Turkish police on Tuesday detained more than 50 lawyers in Istanbul for joining the Gezi Park protests, which have been going on across the country for two weeks, Hurriyet Daily News reported.

The lawyers were detained at Caglayan Courthouse, where they were holding protests in support of the demonstrations staged two weeks ago against the demolition of the Gezi Park in the Mediterranean city, the report said.

“The detention of the lawyers at the courthouse by force brings about the question of what kind of democracy we are living in,” the Ankara Bar Association said in a statement, adding no one could feel secure in a country where even lawyers were arrested from a courthouse by police.

Earlier Tuesday, hundreds of Turkish riot police used tear gas and water cannons to disperse protesters in Istanbul’s Taksim Square where the park is located, leaving a number of protesters injured.

The move came after Erdogan agreed to meet the protests’ organizers on Wednesday.

Over the past two weeks, the nationwide protests have left at least three people and one policeman dead and about 5,000 others injured.

Organizers of the protests said earlier that they would continue their “struggle” until their demands are met by the government through tangible steps.

  3. RT Turkish police ‘attack’ protesting lawyers at courthouse, many arrests (VIDEO)

Witnesses said the police were acting harshly in overpowering the lawyers. Some described the entire operation as a blatant attack by the police troops.

Lawyer Fatma Elif Koru described the ‘brutal’ arrest of 49 of her colleagues as they presented a press statement at Istanbul’s Ça?layan court.

Elif told a Guardian reporter: “We were just gathering to make a press statement about Gezi Park and then the police attacked. It was very brutal. Now 49 lawyer friends are in custody and many are injured.

They even kicked their heads, the lawyers were on the ground. They were hitting us they were pushing. They built a circle around us and then they attacked.

Around 100 Turkish lawyers have gathered outside the police station demanding that their colleagues be released. “The detainment of the lawyers at the courthouse by force brings the question of what kind of a ‘democratic regime’ we are living in,” said the Bar in a statement sent to the Hürriyet Daily News.

The lawyers were arrested hours after Turkish riot police marched into Taksim Square, a place of mass anti-government rallies for the last 10 days. The troops used tear gas and water cannons to prevent activists from entering the area. Officials said the move was necessary to remove barricades, banners and graffiti left by the protesters.

  4. U.S. considers taking in Syrian refugees

A resettlement plan aims to help both the hard-hit Syrian families and the Middle Eastern countries that are straining to support 1.6 million [ Muslim ] refugees.

The State Department is “ready to consider the idea,” an official from the department said, if the administration receives a formal request from the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Refugees, which is the usual procedure.

The United States usually accepts about half the refugees that the U.N. agency proposes for resettlement. California has historically taken the largest share, but Illinois, Florida, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Virginia are also popular destinations.

[…]But Susan Rice, President Obama’s new national security advisor, and Samantha Power, Obama’s nominee for U.S. ambassador to the U.N., both have been strong advocates for refugees. They may make the White House more receptive to at least a partial opening.
