(I have to wonder, was the highly entertaining TV show, ‘Supernatural’ recently translated and broadcast in Spain? Not that I’m suggesting anything…)

    UPDATE: Arrest made after man stabbed in Woolwich near Lee Rigby murder spot

    A MAN has been arrested following a stabbing this afternoon around 300m from the spot where Drummer Lee Rigby was murdered.

    Emergency services were called to Wellington Street at 3.53pm today and found a man suffering from stab wounds to his chest and arm.

    The stabbing victim’s injuries are not life threatening and he has been taken to a south London hospital for treatment.

    Detectives have now confirmed a man has been arrested in connection with the assault and he is in custody at a south London police station.

    It is thought there is no link to Drummer Rigby’s murder nor with the English Defence League activity in the area.

    UN F’n believable! A second stabbing near the Rigby slaughter is immediately dismissed as not related to terror or Muslims or Islam. . .but hey, the EDL were in the area, wink, wink.

    • I dont think it is related. The vic appeared to owe large gambling debts or something.

  5. UK -Grimsby mosque hit by suspected arson attack

    Police say two arrested after fire at Islamic centre, which chairman Diler Gharib describes as attempted murder

    We had just finished our prayers and were discussing how to thank our neighbours for the support they have shown us over the past few days when we heard a bang and saw fire coming under the door.

    CCTV footage showed three petrol bombs being thrown over the gate of the building, according to Sky News, which was told by the mosque imam, Ahmad Sabik, that it was an attempt to murder.

    “We are now worried about our families, our children, our place of worship,” he said. “Petrol bombs were prepared in advance and some chemical materials were used.”

    The Islamic centre in Grimsby is part of a complex that includes a mosque which was targeted by youths last week.

    Eleven teenagers were arrested after that incident, which happened after a party spiralled out of control, police said. The 16- and 17-year-olds were arrested on Thursday.
