Muslim leader of Gambia: “I have never seen homosexual chicken, or turkey,”

And yet so many gay groups remain steadfastly anti-Israel and pro Palestinian when they would last about a day walking with a same-sex sexual partner in any muslim country and Palestine.

Yahya Jammeh, Gambia’s President: ‘Satanic’ Homosexuals Who Visit Nation Will Regret Being Born

Yahya Jammeh Homosexuals

The leader of a small West African nation that receives American humanitarian aid has warned that any gay or lesbians found in his country will “regret” being born.

Yahya Jammeh, who has been president of Gambia since a bloodless coup in 1994, is not shy about expressing his anti-gay opinions. The president’s latest rant came during a speech on March 28 at the opening of the country’s parliament, according to Gambia’s Freedom Newspaper Online. In an interesting juxtaposition of themes, Jammeh called for continued peace in his country, promised to root out criminal activity and warned homosexuals to stay out of the region or suffer severe consequences.

“Homosexuality is anti-humanity. I have never seen homosexual chicken, or turkey,” Jammeh said, according to the Freedom Newspaper. “If you are convicted of homosexuality in this country, there will be no mercy for offenders.”

He continued thus:

Homosexuality is anti-god, anti-human, and anti-civilization. Homosexuals are not welcome in the Gambia. If we catch you, you will regret why you are born. I have buffalos from South Africa and Brazil and they never date each other. We are ready to eat grass but we will not compromise on this. Allowing homosexuality means allowing satanic rights. We will not allow gays here.

  1. Spent much time at my grandfather’s farm where he had cows, sheep, pigs, horses, ducks, chickens, and turkeys. I never saw any gay animals. Not that I want to stick up for Jammeh. But, what can I say? I never did.

  2. One of my male cats (who shall remain nameless) did it with my other male cat (also to remain nameless) missionary style on the master bed. I didn’t know whether stand there slack jawed or laugh my head off.

  3. I am with those who have never seen a homosexual animal, I am the grandson of farmers and most of my relatives are farmers.

  4. I’ve seen gay dogs before, banging away in the park. I’ve seen gay boars who turn their noses up at sows but will roger each other. Jus saying…..

  5. I do not think the point is about gay animals people. The fact is that there are gay people and to threaten violence upon them ,even if you do not agree with their actions or certain allowances western society has given them now, is unacceptable in a modern democracy. I have been to parts of sub Saharan Africa and men like him can stay in their shit holes.(pun intended.)

  6. The irony here is that homosexuality is rife in the Muslim world – they just don’t define it as that.

  7. Some animals that engage in homosexual acts are confused. Scientists have shown this in lizards. Gay birds have left their same sex partner when an opposite sex partner became available due to the death of their previous partner. I would tell Yahya Jammeh that he is wrong. My fear is that the LGBT elites will squash publication of the examples I gave above.

I do not know exactly what to say to EDL, but he should look up the research on scottish red deer.

  8. Not that so-called gay dogs actually ‘prefer’ their own sex as much as, if given the chance, males will bang anything if it is available, i.e. human legs when females are absent or unwilling.

  9. No disrespect to anyone who has commented here, but I think the comparisons of animals humping things to human homosexuals is probably not a reasonable one. The reasons a male dog might hump something range from play, dominance, response to a hormone in the other dog, desire for actual release in which case a dog will hump a pillow if it has the right shape, (which doesn’t make it a sofaphile anymore than a prisoner is gay for having sex with another man necessarily.)

For a man to find another man sexually attractive and having that preference is the issue and the social consequences to normalizing that particular aberration.

At some levels it can’t possibly matter to another individual. It doesn’t effect me to the extent that I do not have to change my own behavior or desires. At another level it may have an overall societal effect that makes the process of raising a family that much more difficult so that less people do it, and society collapses from within.

There may be precedents for this as well. Mark Steyn noted that before WW2 and before the fall of Rome homosexuality was normalized to the extent we see it now in those nations. I recognize however, that this is what might be called, ‘2 variable social geography’ and is a dangerous connection to make in the absence of other information. It would be good to know more certainly before policy is set on it. Certainly most readers here would agree that government should not persecute homosexuals for (in the case of men at least) what is almost certainly not a choice and has consequences only to themselves. However I would suspect that reveling it, forcing it on the rest of the population as an important if not superior lifestyle is also probably a bad idea.

At least if one wishes their civilization to continue.

Should you not give a disclaimer before you cuss and say things like ’2 variable social geography’? Getting most people to think of more than one variable at a time is hard. You attend a Design of Experiments course and you are regaled with stories of experimenters who study multiple variables by sequentially studying each variable while holding the others constant. And those are college educated people. 70% of the population is not (although many of them do much better than those who are not). Point is I almost think it would be easier to throw a superfluid against a wall and get it to stick than have a public discussion about a problem with more than 1 variable. 🙁

I had not heard of the interregnum between the World Wars was similar to Rome in the respect of culture. Certainly, Berlin and gay Paris had active subcultures, but myself I never associated the one of the causes WW2 with the gay subculture. I would have more luck showing a connection between WW2 and the fall of Constaninople.

In Berlin the local police and others used the night life to get dirt on people and affect national politics.

I think any big city will have a growing subculture in part because of the competition, opportunity and rationalization. I’m pretty sure Hitler engaged in homosexuality (& maybe a female prostitute or 2), when he was destitute. And he did so for the same reason that was implicit when you said prisoners do so.

After DOMA is struck down in June by SCOTUS, any of the remaining states without gay adoption will have it. We will also see teaching in school what a great guy San Francisco mayor Harvey Milk & every other gay person was or is. Never mind that the guy who murdered him did so because he had wanted his job back and the cause of the murder was economics. Nevermind that Harvey’s biography will get people upset if they read it. Harvey had the same problem as Obama’s safe school czar.
