Muslims living in America should not be bound by U.S. law, according to a leader of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, who delivered the controversial message to a crowd at a Muslim rally in Austin, Texas.

“If we are practicing Muslims, we are above the law of the land,” said Mustafa Carroll, executive director of the Dallas-Fort Worth CAIR branch.

The rally in Austin was part of a nationwide effort to hold “Muslim Capitol Day” events.

According to the event website, Muslims from around Texas went to the capitol to “promote civic and political activism throughout the wider Muslim community.”

  1. They were telling their real attitude, unfortunatly not enough people payed any attention to the statement.

  2. There is only one set of rules a and laws The Constitution, from which all federal law is derived and state, county and local laws and ordinances. May I suggest that if ‘followers of the teachings of the prophet’ are not content with our laws and civil society that they migrate to the Islamic paradise of their choice.Once there they will not have to deal with the unclean and unholy Infidel. Furthermore they will not hove to put up with the bothersome western way of life and be plagued with personal freedom, liberty, economic and educational opportunity, the rule of law, and protection from persecution.

  3. Ohh Frank, they will challenge US Law whenever they feel strong enough. This is just a test-drive and you have more to come.

No doubt that US will stand up to all tests but you have to consider the price.

Is it worth to uphold immigrates, third world islamic immigrants that is, rights? Or will US willingly look the other way when religious threats, crime rates and terror attack explode?

Europe did it, and we are in deep shit already!

  4. Hate to be the one to tell him but,as soon as your feet touch American Soil, then you are under American Law and nothing else.
