ACLU fighting high schools for some student’s ‘right’ to wear high heels and a tux to the prom

Some students, while not having been told they couldn’t wear that to the prom, feel they might not be allowed on the bus. A wise man once said that you could destroy any tradition or societal norm if you phrase your complaint in the form a ‘human rights’ issue.

One wonders if the ACLU has nothing better to do, if we haven’t reached utopia already.

  1. I agree, if the ACLU can’t find anything besides this to do we are real close to utopia.

  2. The problem is the ACLU gets legal costs (lawyers fees and expenses) paid by the tax payers win lose or draw. This is why they are willing to sue for every little boo boo, they make money no matter what.

  3. I agree, Richard. That’s exactly why I mentioned the “at their own expense” point in my previous comment.
Actually, most of the idiocy in our “civilized countries” is happening only because the taxpayers are foolishly sponsoring it.

  4. You got that right, and they scream bloody murder when someone has the gall to tell them the truth.
