Three members of the Multinational Force & Observers (MFO) in the Sinai Peninsula were wounded on Friday, when dozens of Bedouin militants attacked their headquarters in northern Sinai.

In the early evening, an angry mob broke down the wall of the North Camp base using jeeps and commercial vehicles, according to Egyptian media reports.

Eye-witnesses said that the militants managed to penetrate the fence of the base and set fire to a vehicle belonging to the peacekeeping forces, an observation tower at the entrance of the base, electronic equipment, communication devices and ammunition that were at the scene.

  1. Richard. No it has nothing to do with the Ebmassy attacks.

This has to do with pressuring the peacekeepers to leave Sanai. If that happens then Egypt will threaten Israel’s border. Complicating their attack on Iran’s nuclear bomb development facilities.

In 1973 just before the Egypt Israel war Egypt told the peacekeepers to amscray and they left immediately. Do you think they would if Israel asked them to? Sorta shows us that the peacekeepers are really there to guard the border for the Egyptians and are really a supplament ot the Egyptian army, not a neutral presence.

More evidence of the UN’s complicity against Israel.

If they leave then the Egypt will threaten Israel’s border. This complicates their defence if their attack on Iran’s nukes sparks a military responce from Iran and Hizbollah.

That is if the peacekeepers leave.

  2. I spoke too soon. The peacekeepers are under american command. I wish there could be editing capabilities to comments (but that would introduce a whole new level of trolling if they could figure out how to hack comments).

The Multinational Force & Observers is independent, . When it did not prove possible to obtain Security Council approval for the stationing of a UN peacekeeping force in the Sinai, the parties negotiated a Protocol in 1981 establishing the MFO “as an alternative” to the envisioned UN force.

So it was the UN in 1973 but not since 1981.

  3. Truthiocity don’t make the mistake of separating the actions of the Moslems, they are all connected at some level, they are all designed to destroy western civilization, or some outpost of western civilization.

  4. yes but they have their own agendas as well and are exploiting the confusion of the situation. Just as china is doing right now in regards to the Japanese islands.
