Some disturbing indications of shifted US foreign policies

Ynet News reports that:

The United States has indirectly informed Iran, via two European nations, that it would not back an Israeli strike against the country’s nuclear facilities, as long as Tehran refrains from attacking American interests in the Persian Gulf, Yedioth Ahronoth reported Monday.

According to the report, Washington used covert back-channels in Europe to clarify that the US does not intend to back Israel in a strike that may spark a regional conflict.

Obama’s ‘Intelligence’ Agencies Urge Preparing For A ‘Post-Israel Middle East’

Remember Chas Freeman (pictured), President Obama’s original choice for Director of National Intelligence? Chas didn’t get the position because ‘powerful bloggers‘ like yours truly worked hard to expose his indifference to the torture and murder of Chinese dissidents and his being deep in the pockets of the Saudi royal family.

Instead, Obama appointed James Clapper, who told Congress that China is the United States’ biggest mortal threat, and that the Muslim Brotherhood is secular and will save us from al-Qaeda.

So Clapper is now the Director of National Intelligence and Freeman remains influential. Therefore, it’s not surprising that President Obama’s ‘intelligence agencies’ have prepared a report on a ‘post-Israel Middle East‘ (Hat Tip: MFS – The Other News). (By the way, the author of this piece is VERY anti-Israel).

It’s a paper entitled “Preparing For A Post Israel Middle East”, an 82-page analysis that concludes that the American national interest in fundamentally at odds with that of Zionist Israel. The authors conclude that Israel is currently the greatest threat to US national interests because its nature and actions prevent normal US relations with Arab and Muslim countries and, to a growing degree, the wider international community.

One wonders if the article above could be a facet of a US policy also reflected here and here

  1. Bad enough that the US with its flailing or consciously traitorous foreign policy (one or the other) brings itself down, worse yet is that the chaos from the probable impending failure of the US will make the entire world a much less friendly place to live.

  2. China a mortal threat? Too much, too much! There is no excuse for such ignorance. If he considers China a threat or says so it is obvious he is only playing head games.

  3. I have been saying that Obama wouldn’t support Israel for a long time.

ADeifik China is a major threat, mainly because its economy is collapsing and its people are causing problems,, the Chinese government has created a major problem with the sexual imbalance in the population (normal 1.2 women for every man, China 4 to 5 men for every woman) as well as collapsing their economy through crony capitalism, I know they are reporting that everything is fine and they are growing. Bull, the foreign investors are pulling all of their money out of China and China is making military moves on areas that have resources they need.

Because of the above issues China is one of the two nations (Iran is the other) that is poised to start a large war once the US is engaged elsewhere, they are praying for Iran to attack us and Israel so they can have a free hand in the Far East for at least 12 months.

  4. It has been obvious for some time that the USA is no longer a defender of the West. I now see it as an active agent for the destruction pf the West. The USA forced multicultural policies on Western Europe post WWII, that is now leading to the demise of Europe. There is no West, or Western civilisation, if its birth place is under Islamic control.

From Timor to Bosnia and Kosovo, and now the betrayal of Christians in Islamic countries, the USA is a consistent supporter of the most fanatic Islamic movements, and most fanatic Islamic regime in the world- Saudi Arabia.

Throughout Israel’s modern existence, America’s support for Israel has been ambivalent at best.

  6. Yes and no, the support was limited most of the time, but when the fighting started the US would start loading globemasters with munitions and fly them into Israel on a 24 7 basis until the fighting stopped. We disagreed with Israel on several points but were not going to let her be destroyed. Now we have a President who has pulled the prepositioned munitions and weapons our of Israel and who has done everything he can to ensure that Israel doesn’t survive much longer.

I think the support during times of war outweighs not supporting them on some issues.
