DETECTIVES have released a description of the prime suspect in a series of assaults on women in Coventry this week.
A total of five incidents have been reported to police in the city, which all happened in the Foleshill area on Tuesday morning.
The man, who is described as Asian, inappropriately touched three ladies, and exposed himself to two other victims as they walked along Foleshill Road and Cross Road.
The man is between 5ft 6in and 5ft 11in tall, with a dark, Asian complexion, in his late 20s to early 30s, of medium to chunky build, with thick black short hair, which could possibly be curly, he was clean shaven and he wore a polo shirt, which is described as plum or aubergine in colour with a white or cream logo on the chest. He also wore dark trousers or jeans and dark shoes.
Sergeant Daniel Woolley, from Coventry Public Protection Unit, said: “We want to speak to anyone who recognises the man from the description given, as we are very keen to trace him as part of this investigation.
“All five of these crimes were committed within the space of a couple of hours and the victims were all upset by this man’s actions.
“He targeted women in apparently random attacks, with his victims ranging from 21 to 80 years of age.
“Thankfully none of the ladies were injured, however we are still very keen to trace the man as a matter of some urgency to avoid him offending again.
“People should be reassured that assaults on strangers are extremely rare, and officers in the area are on patrol to offer additional police presence in the community.”

If I was Chinese or Japanese I would demand they stop using the term “Asian”. They [Asians] must be of the mind set that everyone knows who they really mean.
Yeah,your right Taffy,they would be a lot more descripitve if this Guy was English-Scottish-Welsh or Irish,if they really wanted the Public to help they would need to give more info.on what kind of person to look out for,this really pisses me off.
I was there a few weeks ago and spent several tears there as a child. Once was a real multicultural area but muslims now dominate and have destroyed the area. You need eyes behind your head when driving through there with the arrogant macho paki driving you come across. When will the brits learn Muslims bring destruction to every area they move to.
Don’t be fooled, assaults on strangers are not extremely rare since muslims immigrated, they’re the norm.
Yet another mustard doing whats right in shitlam, The women involved in this issue should be allowed to dish out their own punishment, Pointed shoes and stillehettos.
But this “Asian” was acting on his own and it is alleged that he would target any one from between “21-80 years”. Phew!
