Horley mosque attack: Call for citizenship classes

It is interesting that the vast majority of people reading the following article by the BBC will nod silently and not give a moments thought to the fact that culture, religion, ideology and belief have little if anything to do with biology, and therefore no amount of hatred and contempt for any one of them can possibly be defined as ‘racism’ by any rational definition whatsoever. This of course, was a trick planted by the OIC with great effect. To equate discrimination based on ethnicity with religion. As a consequence, you see absurd stories like the one below:

BBC:

A Muslim politician in Surrey has called for citizenship classes to be reinstated in schools after his local mosque was desecrated.

Vandals threw eggs and alcohol at an Islamic centre in Horley as 400 people prayed inside.

Imran Khan, of the Conservative Muslim Forum, said lessons to prevent hatred should return to the curriculum.

Surrey Police said it recorded 200 crimes with a racial connection in the first half of the year.

Mr Khan, a former borough councillor, said: “What I can see from this is a clear opportunity to re-engage these people with the broader Horley community, and I think the best place to tackle this problem is within the schooling system.

“I think the citizenship education programme which is being taken out by Michael Gove [Education Secretary] should be reinstated.”

It staggers the imagination to realize that the genuine hatred, racism and incitement to genocide,  and political takeover and replacement of all laws and culture with sharia that takes place in these mosques many times a day somehow does not get stopped and charged with racism, while pointing out the truth of it does.

We can certainly thank the UK’s ministry of truth, The BBC, for that one.

Indeed. However, I doubt Khan considers the hatred intrinsic within Islam is the source of his problem.

  2. Islam is gaining skill at manipulating the news media, unfortunately for the Moslems more and more people are getting their news from the net and learning the truth about Islam.

  3. The hatred for islamic community obviously had nothing to do with whether one attend citizenship class or not. Another meaningless suggestion from another islamic leader. THe islamic leader should well focus on the much more horrible behaviours of brown islamic people and misbehaviours of islamic people around the world.

  4. THose islamic leaders such as Imran Khan only cares about his own islamic communities feeling. He don’t care about other communities feelings. That is why islamic people have no right to be leaders or to give advice in an infidel land.

  5. Islam is one of the perfect religion in this world, it have given right to ever one, to parents, to husband, to wife, to the world each person .. so why should the non Muslim LOOK ISLAM weird.

I think people often think of phobia as being a hate but it isn’t. It’s fear. Fear of the unknown. Of course the problem with fear is it often instills in people the fight or flight response. It is only through learning and exposure to that we fear that we may have a chance to overcome these fears.

After many years of a negative portrayal, bias Against Islam and Muslims is deeply rooted in Western minds and it will be very difficult to eliminate it, Spanish journalist Yusuf Fernandez says.

He stated that the neo-fascism and far-right bigotry are increasing throughout Europe as much as fascism and Nazism did in the 1930s and this is one of the reasons why Islamophobia is now rapidly spreading in Europe and has become a major concern for the Muslim minorities in the European countries.

Anti Islam propoganda in the Western media for the past 20 years, which accellerated after the 911, is having the opposite effect. Some educated people in the West mainly out of curiosity want to learn what Islam is about. When they approach their research with an open mind, probably most of them form positive impressions about Islam and some of whom rightfully convert. In the USA after the events of 911, convertions to Islam pheonominally increased maily in amongst the educated white community and a large majority of them were females.

Minorities, to whichever community they may belong, should be safeguarded. Their religion, faith or belief should be secure. They should have protection with regard to their religion, faith, their life and their culture. That is the most important duty of any Government to protect all of its citizens, regardless of their beliefs or religions, colour of skin and community they belong to. Unfortunately, those of us who practice non-Christian religions DON’T have the protection of the government or any other agency. With a Christian majority in this country, we have to put up with all kinds of crap every day. “Hate crimes” are matters of perception. They mostly entail stinkeye stares or muttered insults nobody else seems to hear. There have been very few assaults, even fewer murders.

  6. @Iftikhar Ahmad:
Strangly you have failed to take into account the fact that those most against islam (the ideology – not the people) are actually those who know most about it.
Many muslims are unaware that their religion, while giving rights to everyone, does not give the same rights to everyone.
Atheists do not have the same rights as muslims. This is justified by the fact that atheists are somehow ‘less’ than muslims. Women have ‘different’ rights to men.
We are not happy about this. Please read the shari’ah laws, and ask yourself: Is it fear of the unknown, or dislike of the understood?
I have read the Koran, some of the hadiths and the shari’ah áccording to the university of Cairo. I dislike islam. I shall never be able to ‘resept’ a religion that considers me less than an animal. Your best chance of finding sympathisers are among the ignorant, not the knowledgable.

  7. I know islamic people. I lived among them in their predominantly islamic country and felt alienated by their islamic people and their islamic policies. Suffered the injustices of islamic discriminatory policies against us nonbelievers citizens. There is NOTHING beautiful about islam. Islamic people are the most racist people I ever come across not to mention they are one of the most arrogant liar in the world. Therefore it is not surprising to hear islamic poeple like iktifar to spout such nonsense. There is no need for me to read their islamic nonsense, to know that why islamic peple are such horrible and arrogant people. Islamic people failed to blame their own islamic community for all the problems, which islamic people no doubt caused the most problems with their arrogant dogma and authoritarian islamic arrogance.

  8. It is time islamic people like iktifar blame their own islamic people misbehaviours instead of trying to blame people of other faiths or other nonbelieving communities. Extremely arrogant and extremely brutal the islamic communities never acknowlege us nonbelieving communities as equal.
Islamic people would spout their nonsense about equality and fairness but in reality, they just put on a threatening face on us disadvantaged nonbelievers. We nonbelievers should not be afraid of islamic people, even though we don’t believe in their god or any other god. And islamic people should start to acknowlege us nonbelievers instead of arrogantly of brutally disregarding us nonbelievers citizens. Their islamic god is NOT greater than anyone.

  9. Moslems tend to create a fearful and backward environment. So no matter how much investment that the West put in the predominantly islamic countires or how much the islamic country tried to copy the advancement of the West, the predominantly islamic countries still remained as backward as ever, due to their stifling and due to their inncompetent culture and unfair islamic culture. That also make us disadvantaged nonbelievers feel insecure living in their predominantly islamic country. Islamic people ruled by creating fear for their extremely intolerant islamic authority.

  10. Another unpleasant fact is that islamic governments never safeguard disadvantaged minority rights, in the real sense. Islamics just took whatever that they can fom rich minorities and then tend to disregard the disadvantanged poor minority of other faiths. Even the achievement by a minority non-moslem was implied by islamic controlled media as” islamic achievement”.

  11. If islam is “so good” as preached by islamics, then there is no need for islamic people to go to the West and trouble the West. The fact is islamic people are troubling the West with their intolerant islamic ideology and that is bad. The West need to sort out it is own problem And the islamics need to sort out its own problems in their own asian, middle east or africa countries.
