Knife-wielding robber hits Innes Rd. bank

I have an idea. Let’s make a special exception to the ‘no disguises allowed at the bank’ rule. No one will abuse it I’m sure!

Ottawa police want the public’s help to identify a knife-wielding bank robber.

Shortly after noon on Tuesday, police say a male, brandishing a knife, jumped the counter at an Innes Rd. bank and demanded money.

The suspect made off with some cash, which included a dye pack that went off during his escape.

The suspect is described as white and of average height and build.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Ottawa Police Service robbery unit at 613-236-1222, ext. 5116 or Crime Stoppers at 613-233-8477.

  1. Gosh this is going to be really easy to ID the perp. Don’t you think that photo of the suspect matches that of Sultaana Freeman or any of the others claiming their ‘civil right’ (supported by ACLU) to don the full face veil . . .even on photo ID’s like drivers licenses despite the fact that in Muslim nations, no such privilege is granted – even on religious grounds! photo
