Saudi woman allowed to compete in hijab

If they can’t destroy everything we do, they have to transform it to ‘accommodate’ Islam and ideally, give it an advantage, or equally as good, a clear victim status.

Each time we give in and change one of our own institutions to suit Islamic demands, we lay a brick in our own mausoleum. Perhaps more than just one.

  1. One word. SCANDALOUS.

Jigoro Kano, Founder of Judo (Budokwai Bulletin, April 1947):
“Judo should be free as art and science from any external influences, political, national, racial, and financial or any other organized interest. And all things connected with it should be directed to its ultimate object, the “Benefit of Humanity.””

Safety concerns put aside… Even if they want to claim personal influences instead of organized ones, there is no ultimate benefit of humanity derivable from wearing a head covering in Judo competition at all. Differences between people should be decided on the mat by competing, not by distinguishing themselves by religious practices, or by sowing discord and sedition.

If they want their own competition according to their own rules derived from their own culture, I would recommend them to found their own “Mecca-do.” In a couple of decades it could eventually become an Olympic sport, too.

  2. Now they have to set new rules on how to deal with someone with these extra cloths that can not be touched.

  3. I saw this posted elsewhere and think it applies here.

“I do not think very many people realize that showing respect and deference to Muslim practices and sensitivities outside of Muslim countries is a form of submission to Islam, regardless of the Islamic holiday or the day of the year. This is especially true of those who know little about Islam and have not grasped the implications of granting such respect.”

  4. just as *Pigs* said its a submission to islam and a nail in our coffin as the bleedin hearts will capture this and use it to their advantage

  5. This woman is not an athlete. She did not qualify for her Olympic spot as did the other judo fighters. The IOC extended a special invitation to her to compete through negotiations to bring Saudi women to the Olympics. So here we have it. An unqualified woman wearing a hijab fighting qualified opponents. I’m wondering how many tires will be set ablaze from the Muslim crowd crying foul!!!! screaming this is a zionist plot!!!!! when she is injured and loses.
