Really good analysis on the OIC refusal for a minute of silence for the slaughtered olympians 40 years ago.

This guy has exactly the right attitude in my opinion. This is about appeasement of a murderous ideology at the expense of those, who in some ways, were excellent examples of what the Olympics claim to be about.

  1. You are right Eeyore, this is one reason I think the Olympics probably won’t be revived after the coming war.

  2. They were worried that Arab teams would walk out. So what? No loss if they did. They weren’t exactly prolific medal winners were they? I can’t see any new World records being missed as a result of a cry-baby Muslim boycott.
Maybe the Arab Middle-East should have their own Olympics. I can see a big market for large stadium events such as Camel Dressage, Team Wife-beating and Synchronized Sodomy. These Ishmaelite cloth-heads are a waste of space. They don’t represent the spirit of the Olympics and have none of the courage or sportsmanship that the Olympic games endorse, so quite frankly, if I may say, they should never have been invited in the first place.
