Six facing firearms charges

Cops have charged six men with firearms offences after a gun was found during a routine traffic stop.

It happened around 1:45 a.m. Sunday when a patrol officer stopped a vehicle with a driver and five passengers in the St. Laurent area.

Upon further investigation, a gun was seized and everyone in the car was arrested and charged with gun offences including careless storage of a firearm, unlicenced possession of an unregistered firearm, occupying a motor vehicle with a firearm, possession of a loaded gun, and possession of a firearm obtained by crime.

One of the men, Ikemefuna Ayalogu, 29, is also charged with drug posession.

Malik Adjokatcher, 23, and Khalid Mohammed, 23, are also charged with possession of a firearm while prohibited.
