  1. BY TERRORRIST ACT, WHY THE POLICE DON’T ARREST THE MARGINAL’S AND CRIMINALS, WHEN THEY ARE BLACKS OR MUSLIMS??????

  2. I am bloody disgusted.

I just hope that the British people will see this act for what it is – the state abusing its position of power to arrest and vilify innocent people who had lawfully gathered to make their opinions heard.

    This is Fascism.

    I

  3. Woke up this morning and hoped that this story was just a bad dream. Nope—it’s still here. No violence occurred, but EDL members were arrested for the “possibility” of “marching” … and for having some “discussion” about that …unbelievable.

  4. typical and exactly what one would expect from this government
it has created the sad and sorry situation in England where criminals, refugee, immigrant lunatics and their spawn have the support of a large group, the media and the brainwashed
This will never never never stop the EDL, and will only make them stronger
It may frighten some into submission, but it will never stop the war against the islamic scourge and only stregnthen the obvious to those that can see….
E E EDL, Bless all of you, if I were there I would be marching with you,
    Never Surrender

  5. With that kind of thinking from the authorities, wouldn’t it be fair to say that they should also march in the Muslim ghettos and start arresting people for the simple idea that they ‘might’ just create terror on the street of London. What’s good for the goose is good for the gander.

  6. All this does is convince people like my wife, that the edl is bad.The majority of people arent interested in the truth, they believe what the police and media tell them and this helps them to think the country is under control. What they dont realise is that it is becoming a fascist control.

  7. To Ramjet;

    What an excellent comment !

I am jealous because I did not think of the situation in these terms.

    Great !!

  8. There is no doubt the government is determined to ban the EDL. This heavy handed
action by the police on Friday and the arrest of 170 EDL supporters was planned
to incite violence rather than the lame excuse that it was designed to “prevent
behaviour which could lead to public disorder”. Thankfully the EDL did not rise to
the bait despite some rough treatment from the police and as a result were released
without charge. This was a source of embarrassment to the Met police and there is no doubt in my mind that the Met, in collusion with the government and some sections
of the media, will be devising some scheme to discredit the EDL which could give
the government an excuse to ban the movement.
