STRATFOR: Israel delivers harsh warning

Clearly the Isrealis view a missile landing near Tel Aviv as a red line of sorts, as well they should.

Israel: Gaza Rockets Unbearable – Vice PM

November 1, 2011

Continued rocket fire from Gaza has created an unbearable situation in southern Israel, and Israel is nearing a dramatic decision that will put an end to the attacks, Israeli Vice Prime Minister Silvan Shalom said Nov. 1, The Jerusalem Post reported, citing Israel Radio. Israel will act directly against the terrorist infrastructure and heads of terrorist organizations, Shalom said. Israel cannot accept a situation in which the lives of millions of its citizens are in danger, Shalom said, and it must regain its power to deter terrorist attacks, which have decreased since Operation Cast Lead.

  1. I have heard it speculated that Israel is getting their citizens back because they are getting ready to launch a multi front attack on Iran, Hezbollah and Hamas.

  2. A harsh warning? You’re receiving rocket and mortar bombardments onto your civilian population centers and your reaction is a harsh warning? Now if they had been shooting the rockets and mortars at their own people then NATO would’ve already wiped them out with their Muslim Brotherhood and Al queda proxy army, but since it’s only Jewish women and children being targeted then hey, no problem, just give them a “harsh” warning. Words mean nothing to terrorists, nothing at all.

  3. You got that right, it is politically correct to be anti-Semitic, at least in private, because of that the West will do everything it can to prevent Israel from doing more then give harsh warnings.
