Religious conflict sparks friction at Bradford Catholic school

From National Secular Society

Conflict between religious gangs at a Catholic school in Bradford flared on Monday when police had to be called to St Bede’s Grammar School. There were reports of a stand-off between Catholics and Muslim youths and later that day, as school buses left the site, the vehicles were set on by a group of Asian pupils. Stones and half-bricks were thrown at the three buses and terrified pupils had to dodge the missiles which smashed windows causing £600 worth of damage.

A spokesman for the Leeds Diocese, which runs the school, confirmed there had been “some friction” between groups of students in the school.

Councillor Imdad Hussain (Lab, Heaton) said he feared unrest at St Bede’sCatholicGrammar Schoolcould escalate into full-scale gang warfare. He is calling on the boys’ school to “talk out” the problems by organising a parent and pupils forum bringing the two faiths together.

He said: “Bradford stood proud during the recent riots and unrest across the country. Our young people did not come out and make trouble and we don’t want them to now.”

Now where would muslim youth get the idea that stoning a bus could fulfill Sura, hmmm, ah yes, that would be Sura 8:60

“Prepare for them whatever force and cavalry ye are able of gathering to strike terror, to strike terror into the hearts of the enemies, of Allah and your enemies.” (8:60)

Lest someone think this verse is a simple misunderstanding, or taken out of context, or perhaps, not adequately translated . . .Robert Spencer provides ample Islamic sources confirming the jist of this verse:

Yusuf Ali: “Against them make ready your strength to the utmost of your power, including steeds of war, to strike terror into (the hearts of) the enemies, of God and your enemies.”
Nooruddin: (“Believers! It is your duty also that you) keep prepared to meet them with whatever you can afford of armed force and of mounted pickets at the frontier, to strike terror thereby into the hearts of the enemies of Allah and your enemies.”
Dawood: “Muster against them all the men and cavalry at your command, so that you may strike terror into the enemy of God and your enemy.”
Fakhry: “And make ready for them whatever you can of fighting men and horses, to terrify thereby the enemies of Allah and your enemy.”
Daryabadi: “And get ready against them whatever you can of force and well-fed horses with which you may overpower Allah’s enemy and your enemy.”
Pickthall: “Make ready for them all thou canst of (armed) force and of horses tethered, that thereby ye may dismay the enemy of Allah and your enemy.”
Hilali-Khan: “And make ready against them all you can of power, including steeds of war (tanks, planes, missiles, artillery, etc.) to threaten the enemy of Allah and your enemy.”
Shakir: “And prepare against them what force you can and horses tied at the frontier, to frighten thereby the enemy of Allah and your enemy.”
Asad: “Hence, make ready against them whatever force and war mounts you are able to muster, so that you might deter thereby the enemies of God, who are your enemies as well.”
Sher Ali: “And make ready for them who fight you whatever you can of armed force and of mounted pickets at the frontier, whereby you may frighten the enemy of ALLAH and your enemy.”
Muhammad Ali: And make ready for them whatever force you can and horses tied at the frontier, to frighten thereby the enemy of Allah and your enemy.”
Khalifa: “You shall prepare for them all the power you can muster, and all the equipment you can mobilize, that you may frighten the enemies of GOD, your enemies.”
Arberry: “Make ready for them whatever force and strings of horses you can, to terrify thereby the enemy of God and your enemy.”
Palmer: “Prepare ye against them what force and companies of horse ye can, to make the enemies of God, and your enemies.”
Rodwell: “Make ready then against them what force ye can, and strong squadrons whereby ye may strike terror into the enemy of God and your enemy.”
Sale: “Therefore prepare against them what force ye are able, and troops of horse, whereby ye may strike a terror into the enemy of God, and your enemy.”

Lest anyone also overlook the fact that these aggressive youths are taught from birth that their prophet is “uswa hasana al insan al kamil”, the perfect example of man to be emulated for all time until all worship is for allah — consider more recent events influenced these muslim youths to take up this behavior. Recall the Luton EDL demonstration and the bus which was attacked by adult muslims in broad daylight.
EDL woman kicked when down on the street Sept. 3rd 2011
Eye witness account of the attack on the EDL bus
The terrorized passengers on that coach were arrested. We have yet to read about any of the videotaped attackers being identified or charged with an ASBO (anti-social behavior order) for those assaults. Why wouldn’t this inspire younger muslims in the wider community to cause similar harm. They have absolutely no expectation of repercussions for interfering with community harmony/cohesion or whatever Orwellian pc nonsense the powers-that-be choose to call it these days.

The children on the St Bede’s school bus should have a case to bring against the local police as well as the inept administration of Leeds Diocese, as it is documented there has been escalating difficulties between the muslim youth and St. Bede’s non-muslim students. Quoting above:

“A spokesman for the Leeds Diocese, which runs the school, confirmed there had been “some friction” between groups of students in the school.”

Continual and consistent mischaracterization of (and pandering to) apparent muslim aggressiveness by both the police (in Luton and elsewhere) and this specific diocese, invites escalation and an increase in violent and terrorizing events.
Here’s a clue for the uninitiated or hopelessly pc blinded UK constabulary and diocese: Because, it’s in the koran

  2. The kids are simply doing what their parents taught, the Moslems are trying to take over the world by forcing others to accept them as superior and the Catholics are defending themselves. Incidents like this are going to become more common in the coming months and years.
