Oh thank you so much! That was the funniest thing I have ever seen!
What kind of idiot would give a loaded weapon without the safety catch on to an animal?
Facebook won’t let me post it. What sissies.
Hate to be a bummer but it was uploaded by apeswillrise, the youtube channel promoting the new planet of the apes movie. The footage is from “20th Century Fox Research Library” which exists but is owned by the people producing the movie. It’s hilarious but might not be real. I doubt a chimpanzee in the wild would learn to pull a trigger mechanism even by accident.
at 4:14 a chimpanzee is shown a peanut at the bottom of a transparent pipe. The monkey then figures out ON ITS OWN how to get it. The monkey gets water from a few feet away and spits it into the tupe, thus raising the peanut to where it can be reached. That’s a hell of a lot smarter then pulling a trigger.
Chimps are very intelligent. They can learn language. Over 40 years psych courses in grad studies people were just beginning the experiments, since then there is so much available regarding these amazing mammals. Good ol Jane would explain. They can learn quickly and easily, imitating behavior as toddlers do.
