Shock poll shows rising tide of right-wing nationalism

Interesting that they would use a Shakespeare quote to try and combat the British sense of national identity. I hope one of these suicidal bureaucrats noticed the irony, and that the Islamic world has never produced a poet of that calibre but has likely killed quite a few. Mind you the quote is from Romeo and Juliet. Maybe it is appropriate. Star crossed fantasy love of multiculturalism gone horribly wrong and resulting in much death on all sides. This is the historical norm. People war because they are forced to mix as a rule. Good fences do indeed create good neighbors.

Almost half the country would back a new right-wing party that vowed to crack down on immigration and Islamic extremists, a shock poll reveals today.

They would also restrict the building of mosques and order the flag of St George or the Union Jack be flown on all public buildings.

The revelations will spark fresh fears of racial tension in Britain amid a new wave of support for extreme right-wing parties like the British National Party and the English Defence League.

Findings of the survey, the largest of its kind and involving 5,054 people, are in a major report called Fear and Hope – the New Politics of Identity, which examines views on race, immigration and multi-culturalism. Former Foreign Secretary David Miliband and campaigning left-wing MP Jon Cruddas will officially unveil the report, produced for the Searchlight Education Trust, tomorrow.

They will also launch Searchlight’s Together project to tackle extremism among white and Islamic communities with the slogan: “A plague on both their houses”. In one of the most revealing questions, pollsters Populus asked people if they would back a party that “wants to defend the English, create an English parliament, control immigration and challenge Islamic extremism”.

  1. “A total of 48 per cent said they would either “definitely support” or “consider supporting” a party with such an agenda, if it shunned violence and fascist imagery.”

As if headscarves and the rest of their rags aren’t the imagery of the fascism in their heads. An awful lot of people still haven’t understood. As for the violence, no further comment needed.

  2. And as a BNP life member I thought I was in for the long haul. That the British/European sheeple were going to let themselves be fucked over by the looney left, the Greenies and all the other missfits in the political areana. Well! what now. The Mirror, part of the controlled press has acknowledged what the right of politics in Europe, including the BNP have been saying for so long.
Now, in order to avoid the inevitable bloodshed predicted by Enoch Powell, is the time to act.
STOP ALL IMMIGRATION OF MUSLIMS INTO WESTERN COUNTRIES.
REMOVE ALL MUSLIMS (AND OTHERS) WHO REFUSE TO ABIDE BY OUR LAWS AND CUSTOMS.
STOP ALL SOCIAL SECURITY BENEFITS TO ANYONE WHO HAS NOT CONTRIBUTED.
    DO IT NOW!

  3. “Searchlight Education Trust”

If they were really truthful this would have been named
    “Searchlight Brainwashing Trust”.

But things must be looking up if the Mirror and Searchlight are now criticising the Islamics as well as their countrymen!

  4. Searchlight is a hard left mag. It is full of the usual claptrap about fighting fascism while being the most fascist racist group of lefties in the country.

  5. Sadly W.J we do not have a proportional representation style of voting. So no real hope outside of Labour or Conservative. Both these parties are practically the same. Enoch Powell had it right but he became a pariah and had to leave the Conservative party. Where I live the muzzies have even set up a wing of the conservative party dedicated to their brand of circumcised brown man (Sunni). I went past their offices on day and they they were all happy in their muzzie gear. The little pig under my arm for my ALF friend gave a little snort of derision as they glared at him.

  6. Didn’t this website carry El’ Engles’ articles saying there would probably be a war in England? Fjordman and Takuan Seiyo also warn about this. Are they prophets or is this obvious?

  7. I read the El Engles article about a possible civil war.. It was so insightful. Perhaps he is a prophet of sorts.
