Protocol at Lakemba

Not reassuring at all in dispelling “myths”:

A MOSQUE in western Sydney was selling copies of the inflammatory anti-Semitic book The Protocols of the Elders of Zion on the same weekend it opened its doors to the wider community to dispel some of the myths surrounding Islam.

The bookstall on the ground floor of the Lakemba Mosque had in stock about 15 bright-pink paperback editions of The Protocols for sale for $8.

The Protocols is a hoax document first published in Russia in 1903 that purports to be an account of a meeting of Jewish leaders discussing plans for economic world domination. The books were for sale in a small makeshift bookshop lined with ornate copies of the Koran in a room off a car park underneath the mosque.

On a large table in the middle of the room was a jumble sale of books ranging from early childhood education to cookbooks, including a couple of stacks of The Protocols among the piles of Islamic literature.

When asked by The Australian why the mosque was selling The Protocols, the bookshop volunteer hurriedly grabbed the books and said he would take them off the table. “We’re not racist. I don’t want any trouble,’’ he said. “I can’t read, I don’t read the books, I don’t know what’s in them. I don’t decide what books are chosen.’’

  1. I think any time muslims spew hateful lies about Jews, they should be sued or tried.

  2. You can try and use the hate speech laws against them but don’t think you will have much luck.

  3. I’m afraid that just as you can’t ban books merely because they have lies within them (the k*r*n being one of the more fraudulent of them), you cannot sue someone because they have libeled or slandered a group or religious body. What you CAN do, however, is repeatedly expose the lies and mock those who spew them out. Given sufficient time their hatred will be laid bare and people will hopefully cease to listen to them.

By the way, isn’t the Protocols banned in many western countries as hate speech?

If so, how are these getting into the country?

The final paragraph explains how the Muslim world is so bigoted. The bookstore volunteer can’t read!

Leaders of the Muslim world actually encourage illiteracy (except when it comes to the k*r*n of course) so that their often un-willing subjects are kept ignorant of the real world.

I believe that a study conducted recently showed that there were only something like just over 1,900 book titles published in the entire Muslim world for 2007. how many of them dealt with the true facts of the world as they stand?

  4. Just one main point that I think too many people are missing is that it doesn’t matter if you sell ‘Mein Kampf’ or ‘The Protocols of the Elders of Zion’. The only problem is when you profess them as integral parts of your ideology. Sell whatever you like and make them available to anyone. The red flag was when he yanked the Protocols and why he yanked it. Banning books because some political hack labels it as “Hate Speech” is why “Hate Crime” laws are only used as a political tool to oppress political enemies. Banning the Judeo-Christian Bible as “Hate Speech” is one such prime example of the modern version of burning books to prevent them from being read.

  5. But, their hatred and lies leads to violence against Jews in Israel and around the world. I’m sure you can sue them for inciting hatred and violence.

  6. It is my understanding that the Moslems are not encouraged to read the Koran, they are suppose to ask a Imam what it says and means, Mo the thief didn’t want his followers to think for themselves and the people who have followed him in leadership have continued that policy.
