  1. Eeyore and Vlad, I’m glad to see that you’ve not fallen for Dave’s deception. He’s still facilitating the growth of Islam in the UK by, for example, giving a boost to ‘faith’ schools, with much state funding going to support exclusively Muslim schools. How does that square with his statement about desiring ‘integration’?

It is the continuing negative legacy of the 1948 British Nationality Act and subsequent supplementary legislation that has left us in this mess, for it allowed anyone living within the then British Empire or Commonwealth to claim legal residence in the UK. Millions of course did just this. Northern mill owners in particular were keen to import Pakistanis (Bangladesh didn’t then exist so Bangladeshis are included under this title) to work in their increasingly antiquated and uncompetitive businesses because they were willing to work for lower wages than the English inhabitants. This depressed wages and increased unemployment amongst local people, then a few years later the mills closed and the Muslim immigrants remained. Here they’ve been ever since, a constant economic millstone around our necks and a societal thorn in our side.

Later UK legislation relating to immigration tightened up the right to live in the UK, but there remained something called the ‘right to family reunion’. Unfortunately, this has proven to be a one-way street, with Pakistanis, Bangladeshis, etc importing their extended family networks and thus greatly expanding their presence in our towns and cities. Cameron and his ilk never touch upon this reality, this objective history of the problem, because they would deem it to be ‘racist’.

The only way to solve the problem is by one means or another to drastically reduce the number of Muslims living in the UK. Cameron however will not contemplate this. Instead, I can guarantee that he will continue to pander to Muslims and rigorously police the newly invented thoughtcrime of ‘Islamophobia’. His speech has implications for ordinary Britons, for we do not have a problem with our national identity as we know precisely who we are. If he is then to forge this ‘common’ national identity, I can see that this will involve some form of ideological attack upon the indigenous population. We shall see far more automatic bracketing of Islamists and so-called ‘far-right extremists’ (e.g. EDL and anyone who has ordinary anti-globalist patriotic views) with the possibility that this might find legal expression.

Certainly, as the recent cases involving Special Branch undercover agents provocateurs in the environmental movement demonstrate, the state will have developed a network of informants within the EDL, and if it has not done so already, it will seek to split and destroy the movement through placing moles within its ranks who will attempt to wheedle themselves into positions of influence or carry out acts of inflammatory violence which will further blacken the image of the EDL in the public eye.

In reality, neither Cameron nor Merkel have the intent to tackle the Islamisation issue, for they do not recognise it as a problem unless it generates a significant wave of Islamist violence. Unfortunately, we have nobody of the political calibre of Thilo Sarrazin in the UK who is willing to speak the truth about this issue. We desperately need to create a viable political arm to parallel the EDL street presence, but this is intensely difficult owing to the vast swathe of ‘hate speech’ and equality and diversity legislation which would ensure that any employee would be dismissed from their job for becoming involved in such a politics. Furthermore, even if some businessman of independent means were to step forward into the political arena and fight this corner, the orchestrated negative media reaction could well destroy his livelihood.

  2. if the wimp cameron is arguing for assimilation rather than multiculturalism, then it’s time to argue for conversion.

    here’s why:

IF THE JIHADISTS ARE “MISUNDERSTANDERS” OF ISLAM, THEN SO WAS MOHAMED – AND THIS IS UNLIKELY.

    * IF THE JIHADISTS ARE APOSTATE EXTREMISTS, THEN SO WAS MOHAMED – AND THIS IS UNLIKELY.

    * IF CAMERON AND OBAMA AND THE WIMPY APPESING LEFT INSIST THAT THE JIHADISTS ARE EXTREMISTS, THEN – BECAUSE THE JIHADISTS ARE EMULATING MOHAMED – THEY ARE ESSENTIALLY SAYING MOHAMED WAS EXTREMIST AND THE RELIGION HE FOUNDED IS AN EXTREMIST RELIGION AND NOT A RELIGION OF PEACE.

THAT’S A PARADOX WHICH EXPOSES THE HYPOCRISY AND/OR ILLOGIC OF THE ‘ROP” ARGUMENT.

THAT’S A PARADOX WHICH EXPOSES THE HYPOCRISY AND/OR ILLOGIC OF THE ‘ROP” ARGUMENT.

THAT’S A PARADOX WHICH EXPOSES THE HYPOCRISY AND/OR ILLOGIC OF THE ‘ROP” ARGUMENT.

    AND ANOTHER THING:

IRSHAD MANJI – A FAMOUS THE POSTMODERN LEFTIST MUSLIM LESBIAN WHO BELIEVES THAT ISLAM CAN BECOME COMPATIBLE WITH MODERNITY AND DEMOCRACY – HAS CALLED THE EXTREMISTS “LITERALISTS” :

What is the trouble with Islam?

Irshad Manji: The problem with Islam today, in a word, is literalism.

AND SHE HAS ARGUED THAT MUSLIMS CAN EVOLVE TO HAVE A MORE “FIGURATIVE” APPRECIATION OF THE KORAN AND SURA AND HADITHS AND LIFE OF MOHAMED.

BUT BY MAKING THIS ARGUMENT, SHE IS TACITLY AGREEING WITH ME AND THE ANTI-“ROP” ARGUMENT:

SHE IS ESSENTIALLY SAYING THAT MOHAMED AND THE HADITHS AND THE SURA AND THE KORAN ARE LITERALLY EXTREMIST AND JIHADIST AND VIOLENT AND SEXIST.

AND IN THIS SHE IS CORRECT.

IT’S LONG PASSED TIME THE REST OF THE LEFT AND CAMERON AND OBAMA AND THEIR WIMPY APPEASING LEFTIST ILK ACCEPTED THE TRUTH.

OUR SURVIVAL DEPENDS ON OUR ABILITY TO COUNTER-ATTACK EFFECTIVELY AND THE LEFT’S DENIAL IS HAMPERING OUR EFFORT.

THE UNPLEASANT TRUTH IS THAT WW4 IS A RELIGIOUS WAR – NOT BECAUSE “RIGHTWING NUTJOBS” SAY SO,

BUT BECAUSE THE ENEMY SAYS SO AND IS PROACTIVELY FIGHTING IN WAYS THAT SAY SO.

  3. Mr. Cameron and his fellow politicians are reading the ‘tea’ leaves and are running scared. It has been said “you can fool some of the people all of the time, all of the people some of the time, but you can never fool all of the people all of the time”. IMHO Mr. Cameron’s speech is more like too little to late, how much more crap and BS does he and the British government expect the British public endure? They like other governments have prostituted themselves to big oil, foreign influence, multinational corporations, and bankers, before the concerns, safety, security, and prosperity of their own citizens.

  4. Big Frank most of what you are saying is right, however it is OPEC, not big oil companies that the governments are prostituting themselves to, and most of the multinationals you dislike are just trying to keep the governments from taking control of their property. The problem is excess of regulation on everyone and every thing, the left insists that they know best and we must let them tell us how to live our lives. This approach has always led to poverty and slavery, free up the individuals, take the government out of the business of deciding which business will succeed and what they can do. Doing these things will bring about a rebirth of wealth and forward looking ideas, but I doubt if any of this will happen soon, the left is tottering but is still to powerful for us to recover our freedom quickly.

  5. The left is a curious creature. It is also against big oil. Being against big oil means you are against all oil and for renewable energy. This has helped in a strange way. The rise of food prices. The Arabs are dependent on food imports. Egyptians are the worlds number one importers of wheat. A rise in food prices means trouble on the streets. Even an islamist has to eat. The muslims are getting priced out of the food market. The Asians who are newly wealthy and are enormous wheat and rice producers can pay the price of higher food but the muslims can not. Could this be the way to impoverish the muslims. Keep producing ethanol and thus consuming more of the food supply which starves the arabs. Most arabs are poor. The vast majority do not live in Saudi or in the rich micro states of the gulf. This unwitting support of alternative energy by the left via ethanol has produced the rise in food prices which triggered the revolutions in Tunisia and Egypt etc. Even if these revolutions produce more islamics of the hard core variety it will make no difference if hard core islamics start starving to death. Still that is a future sceanario. Who know what the future will bring. We can only speculate. The net result of the rise in food prices is more focus on the basics ie survivial.

  6. peadphileprophet your post makes me take back my words to you in a different comment thread, this may be an unexpected organic growth of the lefts policies. It certainty gives the left a handle to try and use to control the Moslems, according to a lot of people I am reading the raise in food prices is why the rioting started in the first place. I will have to think on this one for a while.

  7. Thank you for the reply Richard, My main beef is with the fact that some corporations are playing footsie with the administration of our ‘Dear Leader”. I don’t hate them their relationship with the administration worries me in some cases it’s too cozy, for example GE. I am basically a small government guy I want them off our backs and out of our pockets. What we need now more than ever is an era of thrift and austerity, short term pain for long term gain.

  8. From what I understand the CEO of GE is a socialist who is bribing Obama to keep off GE’s back and exempt them from all sorts of regulations, I know some of the Freshmen house members are trying to get info for some investigations with possible, I repeat possible criminal charges. Personally I don’t hold out much hope because even if enough evidence is found the current Justice Department appointees will make plea bargains that have little to no penalties. Like the plea bargain over Bill Clintons perjury, he wasn’t going to practice law anyway so the loss of his law license was no punishment.

The reason most big corporations donate so much money to the Dems is to keep them off their backs, since the Republicans (for the most part) are for free enterprise and low regulations they don’t get as many bribes disguised as donations.

Glad to hear you are small gov, I am also. If I thought the libertarians would become a serious political party I would be tempted to join them, but since they refuse to accept human nature I don’t waste my vote on them.
