Roadside bomb kills 9 civilians in restive southern Thailand; deadliest attack in a year

PATTANI, Thailand — Nine people have been killed by a roadside bomb in southern Thailand, where an Islamic separatist insurgency has entered its eighth year.

Police Col. Sawas Tiawirat says Tuesday’s bombing hit a car in Yala province. Sawas says another two people were wounded in the blast.

The bombing was the single deadliest attack in the region in more than a year.

Last week, four soldiers were killed in an attack on their outpost in neighbouring Narathiwat province.

The insurgency in Thailand’s three southernmost provinces has left more than 4,300 people dead since January 2004.

  1. There is really only one question to ask: is the world ready to exterminate all Muslims? Soon.

  2. No, they are not.

    Even during the crusades the west didn’t want to exterminate Muslims they just wanted to move them out of their territory.

    For the next millennium or two :
    The world is going to see Islam grow.
    Then shrink only when we push them back.
    Then osculate back and forth.

    One day a dictator will rise and finely destroy one of us.
    Note: The west can never lose one of the fights or we are done.
    Will the barbarians win in the end?

OxAO you are forgetting Israel, they have vowed to go down fighting and a few weeks ago (I forget the date or comment we were on) a Jew posted on Atlas Shrugs that if Israel is destroyed their missile subs will take out all Islamic capitals and the capitals of everyone in Europe that helps them. I don’t know if they will do this but you must factor Israel, their 200+ nuclear warhead arsenal and their missile subs (I forget how many but think 4 or 5) into the equation. This is why Obama abandoning Israel worries me, that situation and India v Pakistan or China are the most likely places a nuclear exchange will take place over the next few decades. I forget North Korea nuking the South, I don’t think China will let them launch on us.

  4. Israel will be the sacrificial lamb. yeah they have nukes and they will not go down fighting. If they attacked Europe the survivors will not have anyplace to go.
