Sodomy and Sufism in Afgaynistan

I post this because friends of mine who served in Afghanistan have told me similar things directly. In fact, one friend who served told me that culturally, women are strictly utilitarian. Men are for ‘fun’ sexually speaking, and this was the norm for that culture. In any case, below is a report on Afghan sexuality and add to this some of the documentaries presented on the matter, it would appear that rape of boys is in fact the norm for sexuality over there. Rape, and then killing them when they reach puberty. Th whole documentary of the dancing boys of Afghanistan is here on Vlad somewhere or likely can be found on kitmantv.blogspot.com

Social scientists attached to the Second Marine Battalion in Afghanistan last year circulated a startling report on Pashtun sociology, in the form of a human terrain report on male sexuality among America’s Afghan allies. The document, made available by military sources, is not classified, just disturbing. Don’t ask, don’t tell doesn’t begin to qualify the problem. These are things you didn’t want to know, and regret having heard. The marines got their money’s worth from their Human Terrain adjuncts, but the report might have considered whether male pedophilia in Afghanistan has a religious dimension as well as a cultural one. I will explain why below.

Most Pashtun men, Human Terrain Team AF-6 reports, engage in sex with men – boys – in fact, the vast majority of their sexual contacts are with males. “A culturally-contrived homosexuality [significantly not termed as such by its practitioners] appears to affect a far greater population base then some researchers would argue is attributable to natural inclination. Some of its root causes lie in the severe segregation of women, the prohibitive cost of marriage within Pashtun tribal codes, and the depressed economic situation into which young Pashtun men are placed.”

The human terrain team responded to scandalous interactions between Pashtun fighters and North Atlantic Treaty Organization troops, some reported with hilarity by the media. An article in the Scotsman of May 24, 2002, reported, for example: “In Bagram, British marines returning from an operation deep in the Afghan mountains spoke last night of an alarming new threat – being propositioned by swarms of gay local farmers. An Arbroath marine, James Fletcher, said: ‘They were more terrifying than the al-Qaeda. One bloke who had painted toenails was offering to paint ours. They go about hand in hand, mincing around the village.’ While the marines failed to find any al-Qaeda during the seven-day Operation Condor, they were propositioned by dozens of men in villages the troops were ordered to search.”

Another interviewee in the article, a marine in his 20s, stated, “It was hell. Every village we went into we got a group of men wearing makeup coming up, stroking our hair and cheeks and making kissing noises.”

The trouble, the researchers surmise, is “Pashtun society’s extremely limited access to women,” citing a Los Angeles Times interview with a young Pashtun identified as Daud. He only has sex with men, explaining: “I like boys, but I like girls better. It’s just that we can’t see the women to see if they are beautiful. But we can see the boys, and so we can tell which of them is beautiful.”

Many of the Pashtuns interviewed allow “that homosexuality is indeed prohibited within Islam, warranting great shame and condemnation. However, homosexuality is then narrowly and specifically defined as the love of another man. Loving a man would therefore be unacceptable and a major sin within this cultural interpretation of Islam, but using another man for sexual gratification would be regarded as a foible -undesirable but far preferable to sex with a ineligible woman, which in the context of Pashtun honor, would likely result in issues of revenge and honor killings.”

  1. The strain of homosexual pedophilia that runs through the entire Islamic culture is most obvious in Afghanistan, if my memory is right the men who are doing the penetrating aren’t considered homosexual or having committed a sin, but the one being penetrated is a homosexual and committing a sin. I understand that a very large percentage of boys in the Islamic world are raped by their male relatives, and it isn’t considered a sin as long as they are kids but becomes a sin once the reach puberty. This part of the Islamic culture isn’t talked about much because the majority of people don’t like to talk about homosexuality and pedophilia, and the left refuses to discus this problem in Islam because it destroys the idea that all cultures are equal. The more parents that know about this problem in all of Islam the more that will oppose Islam taking over the west.

  2. The troopies are not amused, nor are they decieved. We know full well that the Pashtu are a lost, and very gay, cause.

Richard, you’re completely right about the catcher being gay, but not the guy doin’ it. They’ll just dismiss it as “cultural.” Nothin’ to do with Islam, see. In fact because of Islam, they respect their women so much, they’d rather have sex with each other than violate that respect. Fuckin’ cavemen, the lot of them.

  3. Afghanistan is just the worst on this, the entire Moslem/Arabic culture is the same way, just not as open about it. I have heard that Mohammad swung both ways and that is why the Moslems are so interested in men and not women.

  4. Nine men are being investigated over claims that they groomed teenage girls for sex. Skip related content

The suspects, who are all Asian and aged between 20 and 40, from Rochdale and Heywood in Greater Manchester, were arrested on suspicion of causing or inciting child prostitution, sexual activity with a child under 16 and paying for the sexual services of a child

I suppose they are Muslims, but as usual the Left wing PC madness does not allow the MSM to say so, even though they think they are being unPC.Thye will write “Asians” or if really pushed “Pakistanis” but never “Muslims”.

  5. The public is slowly waking up to the danger from Islam, and as they do the MSM is losing viewers, I don’t know how long it will be before the MSM in the US is out of business.

  6. I’m afraid that this is simply the way the antique world looked at sex – a big part of it, in any case..
Who, reading the stories of marines reporting that in “Every village we went into we got a group of men wearing makeup coming up, stroking our hair and cheeks and making kissing noises.” isn’t reminded of the story of the angels in Sodom who had to take refuge in the house of Lot? And how the men of the city were banging on the doors, demanding that they be sent out so that they “might know them”?
And I’m afraid the same goes for the old greeks..
I think this is what happens when men do not have free access to women, especially when they are from societies where the notion of abstinence is not very popular. And then when they mostly function in all-male groops..Look at prisons, and the armies, of course!
The tabu on homosexuality in the military may well be a result of practices very much remembered; it is understandable that men might dread the idea that people would look at them funny when they return from their tour of duty; the way they look when they think about someone’s having spent time in prison!?

  7. Paardestaart the homosexuality of ancient Greece was mainly centered around Thebes, although there was some in almost all Greek cities. The rest of the ancient world looked down on the homosexuals and their activity, Rome tolerated it but most didn’t like it. I know the modern schools teach the politically correct idea that it was only in modern times that homosexuality has not been accepted but that isn’t the case. Yes there were periods when it was accepted but there were a lot more and longer periods when it wasn’t.

  8. I’m not referring to homosexuality, but to pederasty – although the two may have been mixed up and used intermittently. I do not think the afghan practice in the article should be equalled with homosexuality incidently – it is something else entirely imo; a varying sexual practice, an added treat which owed a good part of it’s attraction to the fact that it could be experienced with male companions in an all male setting

Google ‘pederasty’ if you will, and you’ll find that it was rife during almost all of history, although christianity has for the most part frowned upon the principle: in the christian world it has never been really accepted or encouraged, which is not to say that it didn’t and doesn’t happen, as we all know
I’m afraid that you can safely surmise the phenomenon will assert itself whenever the position and the role of women can be succesfully curtailed and subdued – or when there are no women available, of course.
If the female element were to be extinguished the world would very quickly become like a duckpond in the mating season..

  9. Yes and no, granted there were a lot of early marriages in history, but they were normally fairly young girls marrying boys close to their age, yes there were pedophiles through out history and at times they were tolerated. I say tolerated, not accepted.

Yes pedophilia and homosexuality are fairly closely tied, through out all of history older homosexuals have been interested in young boys, usually as they reach the age where they need Viagra. This time period is when the old hetrosexual men start looking at young girls, although most cultures restricted the girls to 12 years old or older. Mohammad married a six year old and started having sex with her when she was 9, even way back when this was considered too young for most people to tolerate. Even in Greece and Rome (the two eras of ancient history that were the most tolerant towards different sexual habits) and Britain at the time of the revolution (the wildest period (with the exception of some areas today) in recent history) the people who were going after the young girls and boys looked down on people going after prepubescent kids. Granted this came from reading books other then the modern history books so we may be getting our information from sources that disagree about what happened back then.
