Nick Vandergragt on CFRA does call in show on sharia law

This was quite a show. It is interesting to hear attitudes change. Political correctness seems on the run and thank all things holy for that.

Get a coffee and sit back. Also, Nick promised he was going to continue this theme on tomorrow’s show so dial in to www.cfra.com for 10:00 EDT Jan 6 and hope the show is as good as this one is, and I have a sneaking suspicion it will be for a few reasons… much better even.
Enjoy

  1. I have been following this with as close attention as humanly possible. And I wish I had the words to express the contempt I feel for the media in this nation for not giving the name of the person arrested and awaiting charges for possesion of these materials.

Because, as usual, our media is playing the game of, ‘if he is Muslim do not name him, if he is black do not describe him, but if it is a white male splatter the name and description all over the place even before he is charged’ then I guess we have no choice but to assume it is a black Muslim who did this since they are so consistent about their abuse of information. (Please see ‘Agenda and Views of this Site) Anyway I have recorded a couple of bits from TV but they say nothing. Nearly all of what they do say, seems an attempt to lull us all to sleep. Nothing to see here folks. Hey how about them local sports team?

  2. Nick is deluded.

Afghanistan is already under sharia. Always was. Allied forces went there with the fanciful idea to build democracy under sharia, we have failed in every way and when we pull out it will be right back to where it always was. Only with better weapons and more modern technology which makes it harder for us to beat them the next time.

  3. I agree with you Sheik . Nick does not seem to get it that Afghanistan is under sharia law but I’m still happy he brought out the subject > the more people are informed the better . For me it’s a waste of money & lives the war in Afghanistan because they are still under sharia law / Islam (though it might for the moment provide relief for some of the populace ) . The war would be better fought against the ideology of Islam and the varied forms of jihad against the West but this is deemed by our leaders , media & left too PC incorrect . Islam as an ideology is extreme so I always shake my head when I hear the slogan “Islamic extremists ” .

  4. Sharia law was legitamied as part of the constitution under the aegis of the NATO forces. It was legitamised by the US mainly.

It is of course assumed that we were going to Afghanistan to liberate Afghans from sharia, including liberating women. This would assume that our political leaders and their advisors think that they can persuade Muslims to abandon Islam and adopt secular democracy.

The above is an assumption that assumes that all political advisors are also idiots and uneducated.

The other question to ask why the entire Western world, including neutral Sweden, and at one time Switzerland, was in Afghanistan. Why, when it would takes the US not much time to totally defeat the Taleban, and reduce Afghanistan begging for mercy and converting to Christianity – ie if we waged war as we did on Germany and Japan.

    I will leave at that.

  5. Must read

Kevin Myers in the Irish Times.

Not merely is there not a single stable, prosperous Muslim democracy in the world, free of terrorism and fundamentalism, there is no society that has received large numbers of Muslims that has not soon been confronted by an Islamic defiance of existing societal norms. This defiance can be cultural, in which dissident dress code is sought as a religious right; or educational, in which Muslims are raised within their own autonomous school system; or legal, with a demand for Sharia law; or insurrectionary, in which local Muslims opt for terrorist jihad against the state which admitted them.

No European country — not one — that has admitted large numbers of Muslims has been spared any of these outcomes.

No European country — not one — that has admitted Hindus has had to face any comparable problem.

THE EU’s response has been to ignore what it finds uncongenial to talk about, as meanwhile dogmatic “multiculturalists” silence sceptics with the perverse gagging laws that have arisen in every European country. These make it almost impossible for Europeans to defend European values without being called “racist” or an “Islamophobe”.

  6. Update to above comments:
Man faces 5 charges after homemade bomb found

OTTAWA — A man has been charged with five weapons-related offences after police seized parts of a homemade bomb from a car in the Glebe Tuesday night.

Chad Baillargeon, 35 of Gatineau, is expected to appear in court Thursday.

Baillargeon was arrested during a traffic stop just before midnight on Tuesday.

The police force’s biker and criminal intelligence units are leading the investigation. Police haven’t released any information about the intended target of the bomb, what type of bomb it was, or how powerful the charge.

They have said, however, the case is not believed to be terrorism related.

Cops stopped the 1997 Dodge Neon on Third Ave. just west of Chrysler St.

  7. Guys the problem in Afghanistan is that the moderates and the left talked us into nation building in Iraq and Afghanistan. What we should have done is going in stomping, conquered and they occupied the countries, the nation building approach almost always fails and makes the enemy think you are too soft to fight to the death. The main goal in Afghan was to stop more large scale terror attacks and we have succeeded in that, for the moment at least, I don’t know about the future but given what is happening in DC and around the world I suspect that we will have more semi-large to large attacks soon.

  8. The mission in afghanistan was to prevent another large scale attack…are you serious…in 2000/2001 the taliban had wiped out the poppy fields…today 95% of the worlds heroin comes from afghanistan…’They’ can get all these drugs out but not one single bomb???Folks, you really need to wake up.

  9. Talk about re writing history, the Taliban and al Qaeda were controlling the poppy production, just as the Islamists in Albania are the major smugglers of opium and heroin to Europe.
