Police warn EDL that ‘suicide’ bombers may explode at rallies

This from an article and website that is very clearly anti-EDL. I find it somewhat ironic that this publication cannot tell who the good guys or bad guys are, when even they say that it is the Muslims who are threatening to set of bombs and create violent death and mayhem wherever a group that stands for British Law and against sharia law in England march. Yet still, EDL are painted as the bad guys. Truly post modern horror.

Fears of violence as far-right group admits it can’t control followers

  • The Scottish Defence League march in Edinburgh will face a counter protest

With only a week to go before the Scottish Defence League takes to the streets of Edinburgh for a second time, the leaders of the far-right organisation have admitted that they have lost control over the supporters that follow their protests.

A recent English Defence League demonstration in Stoke turned into a “pogrom” against Muslims, according to anti-fascists, that was so violent it shocked even the Defence League leadership, who were quick to deny responsibility. Now Defence League organisers say that this Saturday’s planned demonstration in the capital is at risk of descending into chaos because leaders are losing control of the mass movement.

More than 1,500 people turned up on the side of the English Defence League in Stoke – the sister organisation of the Scottish Defence League – dwarfing the tiny number of anti-fascists that gathered to stand against them.

The mob turned over police riot vans, smashed the windows of Muslim homes and tried to attack a mosque. Organisers believe some 500 Scottish Defence League supporters will turn up in the capital next weekend.

Defence League leaders claim that hundreds of BNP supporters and other thugs turned up in Stoke simply looking for a fight.

Mickey, who leads Casuals United and is part of the EDL leadership, said: “Stoke was horrendous. It went mental. Hundreds of BNP members turned up. You can’t go around rioting like that, because eventually they’ll ban the movement. The people that came don’t care about the EDL, they just turn up for the riots.”

He added: “We’re not conspiring to cause riots. Yes, we have a lot of criminals attaching themselves to us and people that come along to kick off, but we’re trying to deal with that.”

The police are now so concerned about the Defence Leagues that the have set up a special unit to try and combat them.

Fear of infiltration is at fever pitch amongst the far-right group, with leaders even claiming that Special Branch tried to sneak into their ranks by disguising an officer as a Hells Angel.

The biker allegedly visited every regional Defence League leader in the county, asking for membership details and taking photographs. When enquires were made, no motorcycle gang had heard of him.

Police have also warned the EDL that Islamic extremists are plotting to attack their demonstrations and told them that any future protests in Birmingham could be attacked by suicide bombers.

Meanwhile, the Defence Leagues are making allegiances of their own, including with the Orange Order in Belfast, with the aim of opening a wing of the Defence Leagues in Ulster.

Mickey had this further warning: “People all around the country are kicking off against Islam. The government and police must be worried. Our movement’s gone from 30 or 40 people when we started doing demos in London, to thousands now. It hasn’t even been a year.”

Unite Against Fascism held its annual conference yesterday. The group feels that the threat from fascism is worse than ever and has warned that racist violence could become commonplace on the streets of Britain unless action is taken to combat it.

Weyman Bennet, joint secretary of Unite Against Fascism, said: “There was an attempt to try and have a kind of pogrom in Stoke.

“You’ve got fascists becoming successful in elections. Fascists are also at the centre of bringing racist football thugs on to the streets. This brings us into a very dangerous situation and we are at risk of major conflict.

“We will protest against the EDL or SDL wherever they go. We will not allow them to intimidate a community.”

  1. A little too late, according to me. Prevention is alway better than the cure. This is the reason why we have to curtail or better still, put a complete stop of muslim immigration to Canada.
There is only so much people can take… when pushed in a corner like those Britishers hhave been pushed by the muslims… there is no way out but to fight and maim.
I blame the politicians and the media for encouraging muslims to lord it over everybody else in the name of multiculturism. Imagine giving a licence to born bullies to “go forth and do damage”.

  2. These so-called “anti-fascists” are some kind of joke. They’re mostly Trotskyites, fringe Communists even from the 1920s when Trotsky was well-known and somewhat popular in some limited Communist circles. What did Stalin call Trotsky? Well, he called Trotsky a “fascist.” Not much has changed. Everyone is a “fascist” to these losers. Lenin was a big fan of Mussolini; Stalin hated Mussolini only when the latter decided to quit the “International” Communist party, the one led by Stalin and based in Russia, and when Mussolini became a “National” socialist, then Stalin and company decreed that all socialists who were not “Internationalists” were, like Mussolini, “fascists.” That’s about all it means. But it didn’t stop there: soon enough everyone to the right of Stalin became a fascist, from Roosevelt and Churchill to Trotsky and Mao. Now, of course, you too, me and my dog, and the fellow over there and his kids.

Not having a clue about anything but their own moral vanities and their friends’ opinions about anything that comes to mind, we find kids just out of college thinking themselves experts in all things to do with life as the world of people live it, wrongly according to these self-righteous and silly, spoiled children. Those who don’t pay attention to the kids who call themselves “anti-fascists” are “fascists.” It’s known to us as “stupid.” That would be in the technical sense of the word “stupid.” So, being termed a fascist is not really anything but an insult from kids, as a rule, who don’t have information based on facts and historical usage. They just talk through their hats and emote.

Those in positions of power, and those include our civil servants too, use the same lies and stupidities a little more cleverly, to manipulate the masses into assuming that those who disagree with Power, or as Sorel terms it, Force, are Nazis. Not a bad play if one can get away with it. If i want to grab something from my neighbour for nothing, it would probably work if I cn convince the rest of the neighbours that the man is a Nazi: the poor guy would have to sneak out of town in the night and I could grab it all when he left. There’s no defence for him. Unless, of course, people figure out that it’s a scam on the part of the person making such claims about anyone they please to. This “You’re a fascist. You’re a Nazi” rubbish is wearing thin. When we read this kind of nonsense from Trotskyites it really is a howler.

Are the BNP rightwing? Look again to the early days of Stalin’s rule: anyone to the right of him was a fascist. What is the right? It means, according to the seating arrangement of the General Assembly during the French Revolution, that those on the right side of the room were “rightwing.” That’s where we get Left, Centre, and Rightwing. What does it mean today? It means, as Stalin put it, that anyone less “Socialist Internationale” than Stalin is a “rightwinger.” So, if the BNP are nationalist socialists rather than internationalists like the Trotskyites, the BNP are rightwing. Most people just say what they hear said by others. The fact is that the BNP is a socialist, therefore Leftist outfit.

Nationalists who don’t go for socialism, national (“Britain for the British,”) or international, (“We are the world,”) are what one might term “neighbours.” Socialists demand, by definition, collectivism at the price of individualism, publicity at the price of privacy. Those collectivists socialists will demand, as they have done from the beginning, complete control of the whole population, of the nation or of the world. They will demand perfection, leading to such wonder as a perfect physical humanity through such schemes as eugenics, promoted by the Fabian, ie Labour Party, among others. If you’re not smart enough, you must be got rid of. Who you are isn’t important: it’s all about the community. Disagree with the kids just out of college about how to have a perfect society? You must be a fascist.

The EDL is growing in number because there is always a cutting edge of people who have little to lose from a revolution. So it is with the “anti-fascists” who have little to lose if the world is turned over to Islam: they’ll convert and rule, they assume, in a multi-cultural world where they will be so smart all will adore them in time, if after some major extermination of the “fascists” who think not. But the majority of people don’t have “nothing to lose.” They have much to lose, like jobs and families and homes and friendships and community standing and their freedom from prison, as examples. The average man isn’t going to risk any of it to battle Muslims. He’d rather just go along and hope he can live another day in relative peace. But the EDL attracts some who don’t have so much to lose. Good. Let the people who have nothing but freedom be the ones who fight to keep at least that. If they do, and if they’re successful to any real extent, then the average man will come out to support them because he will be safe in doing so. But don’t count on the average man to risk anything much till there’s little to lose in fighting Islam and the Left dhimmi fascists. So, for now, all hail the patriotic English working class!

  3. This is fantastic news! Finally, enough English and Scottish people are waking up and taking action. MariaS, it may be late coming but I hope its not too late.

  4. It’s a shame that it’s come to this. The National Front, Football hooligan element have parasitically found another cause to graft themselves onto, in the interests of a good fight.
It’s this sort of violence and stupidity which will give the Left the lever it needs to dismiss the movement, and will turn ordinary people away.
    Shame

I love the BNP supporters turning up, how did they know that? All bring their membership cards with them did they? Typical spin.

The problem is a) that the government has sat on this for so long that it’s starting to bubble to the surface, and b) there’s no adequate punishment for hurting people, even if you hurt them seriously. Another abdication of responsibility by our so called leaders.
    Damn shame.
