Or the protests in which Muslims hurled insults and whatever they could lift at police, again no arrests. It will be interesting to see who got arrested during this demo.

BBC…Police in Birmingham have arrested 31 people during protests by anti-fascists and a group demonstrating against Islamic fundamentalism.

One protest involved a group known as Casuals United, which police said were made up of local football fans.

Another “counter-protest” in the city centre was organised by United Against Fascism, West Midlands Police said.

The protest, which began at 1800 (BST), is ongoing and police said disorder had been sporadic.

A police spokeswoman said public safety was an “absolute priority”.

Speaking before the demonstration on the West Midlands Police website, Superintendent Matt Ward said there had been a similar protest against Islamic fundamentalism a month before which 70 to 90 people attended.

He said the police wanted to balance the rights of protestors with retailers and shoppers who wanted to use the city centre for their normal business.

Two people were injured in the disturbances which began at 1800 BST.

Police said there were “sporadic incidents of disturbance in the city centre” with the majority of the arrests being for disorder.

There was one report of criminal damage to a vehicle, but more were expected. No police officers were hurt.

‘Burning flag’

Resident Gary Nichols witnessed the disturbances from his city centre flat and said he was unable to go outside for about two and a half hours.

“It was very disheartening to see,” he told the BBC.

“I’ve never experienced anything like it before in the three years I’ve lived here.

“It started off with a group of white guys who were chanting ‘England, England’. I thought they were just football fans, but then a larger group of black and Asian people turned up and it all kicked off.

“You had people burning the Union flag. People were being kicked – some of them weren’t anything to do with the protests.

“It all seemed to be very systematic – groups were arriving in cars and getting involved in the violence.

“It really wasn’t nice to see and I hope I never see it again.”

Speaking before Saturday’s demonstrations, on the West Midlands Police website, Superintendent Matt Ward said there had been a similar protest against Islamic fundamentalism last month, involving 70 to 90 people.

He said July’s protest had been “vocal” but peaceful.

Asked about the latest demonstrations, Supt Ward said the police wanted to balance the rights of protesters with retailers and shoppers who wanted to use the city centre for their normal business.

  1. Where’s the outrage?
    Where’s the justice?

I’ll tell you where it is: dead and buried.
Islam and Political correctness are holding the shovel.

  2. These animals know nothing but violence and lack the courage for a stand up fight on the battlefield, instead they turn on innocent people who have the right to protest in there own country, and hide under rocks and behind women and children on the battlefield.
Stand and fight you cowards, then decent human beings can rid the planet of you forever.

  3. Not sure if you can edit the above comment but if “videos” could be removed that would be great.

Would like to add that the guy in the green shirt in the two photos is probably the same person as in the video.

  4. I live in Cleveland Ohio, on Overlook, and I can smell the European sand monkeys from here. THey stink to high hell, they’re sick twisted sociopathic maniacs, and I think western civilization should start nuking and beheading all the sand niggers throughout the world. Islam is garbage. Mohammed sprang from a rat’s anus.

  5. The you tube video says anti BNP demo,
This wasn’t the case, all the recent demos are Anti Islamisation protests.

Here’s a letter that may convince you from a multicultural loving ex UAF member.

Image – the true face of the UAF – thugs attacking innocent white people.

This letter below says it all.

Finally a decent (ex) member of the UAF who has seen the light, that the aim of the UAF is to increase racial tension so it can profit from racial violence it incites and then use that racial violence as justification for its own pernicious existence.

No doubt this poor guy will now be targeted by the thugs of the UAF, abused and attacked for his bravery and honesty.

UAF protester ‘sorry’ rally got out of hand in Birmingham

Dear Editor, I would like to start by apologising to the people of Birmingham for the events of Saturday evening which I am highly ashamed to have been a part of. However, as a moderate who took part in the UAF protest I would like to set the record straight.

I, like the vast majority of people in Birmingham love the fact that our city is so diverse and vibrant. I felt that this was worth defending, especially from a bunch of trouble makers many of whom were from outside the city.

Unfortunately it turned out the UAF were no more interested in our community than the racists many of us turned out to oppose!

The young Muslims who rampaged through the city streets were incited to violence by UAF activists. I was near the front of the rally in Rotunda Square and I saw how they worked and I saw how it got out of hand.

The UAF should have switched rhetoric when they saw that the young Muslims were getting restless and angry. Instead what they did was get increasingly aggressive speakers to talk about ‘smashing the BNP’ (who not directly involved with the protest) whilst sending agitators into the crowd, with megaphones, to whip up anger there.

Only a few members of the Socialist Workers party, some trade unionists and a few moderate Muslim blokes who had been recruited as marshals on the day, remained to help the Police calm the riot.

I would like to commend the West Midlands Police Force for their sensitive handling of the protest and us protesters during what was a very difficult situation.

However, the ten or so members of the Muslim community who stayed with the protest whilst it was settled are the true unsung heroes of the sad event.

I never got to know their names, however, I am very proud to have worked with them in defusing the tensions that built up between rioters and Police. A true example of why our city is great.

As to the UAF well, I don’t mind announcing that I will never join one of their protests again. Once again I can only say how sorry I am that it all got so out of hand. If we had known how it would turn out then I’m sure a lot of protesters would have stayed home.

The UAF has achieved nothing except to create racial tensions were non existed before.

    Yours in penance,

    Josh Allen, Bournville

  6. Thanks for passing that along Sally. The BBC video does show the UAF speakers whipping up the crowd. It would be interesting to see where the UAF gets it’s funding from though as it has been suggested they are funded with tax payer dollars. Have not seen anything to substantiate this claim but not much would surprise me where the UAF are concerned.

  7. the uaf are sponcered by many mp`s in parliament including david cameron,
they also get backing from the tuc uniuns.
uaf are britains modern day private government militia not unlike mugabe thugs, they have a long track record of causing violence where ever they go, uaf are foot soldiers to start trouble at any peaceful protest, this uaf instigated trouble then means the police have to stop the protest (job done)
you will often find uaf thugs attending anti jihadist protests, bnp events, g20 events, & uaf thugs will also travel to eu protests to stir up trouble.
the uaf are also closley connected with searchlight another mob of thugs who use violence/threats/physical attacks/intimidation & more to serve their government masters.
other people also point out that searchlight HQ happens to be less than 100 metres from mi5 HQ in london (funny that !)
the bigger picture: more & more places through out europe are starting to fight back against jihadism (islam) like sweden/norway/denamrk/france/germany/uk/holland/itali & the eu mafia government clearly shows a swing to to the right in politics, this is a ground swell of discontent against the loss of national identity via mass immigration.
a civil war in europe will not happen in a day, & with governments/government uaf bully`s/left wing media (propaganda) all working together to try & keep the lid on this can of worms, is slowley beginning to fail, as is the misconception of multiculturism be good. so these little riots & uprisings all over europe are likley to increase in numbers & violence, untill one day it will be so in your face it will have to be called by its true name, civil war.

  8. THERE IS A WAY TO STOP MUSLIMS FROM TERROR ATTACKS , SUICIDE BOMBINGS , PROTESTS , ETC. FEED THE FLESH OF SUCIDE BOMBERS TO PIGS & SPRAY PIG BLOOD ON PROTESTORS AND ALL VIOLENT DEMON – STRATORS .
