Fairfax, Va-massive bust near the popular and growing radical Dar al-Hijrah mosque

May 15, 2009 ·  From Fairfax Gov and Silent Majority. Fairfax County Police led a massive bust near the popular and growing radical Dar al-Hijrah mosque in Falls Church, VA Fairfax County, home to Falls Church, one of the major frontlines of Islamist aggression. We have:

On Wednesday, May 6, over 135 law enforcement personnel participated in concluding a year-long undercover investigation. Operation Build America
was launched in May 2008 to better understand the criminal activity
taking place in and around the Build America Shopping Center. The
shopping center is nestled in the Skyline community in the 3800 block
of South George Mason Drive. Community concerns of illegal activities
in the shopping center coupled with indicators that crime was in the
upswing sprung the operation into motion.

The investigation successfully infiltrated several criminal
organizations and businesses operating around the center.
Undercover
police officers identified nearly 40 people suspected of criminal
activity that ranges from property crimes to crimes of violence. The
undercover operation successfully recovered stolen firearms and illegal
narcotics including cocaine and marijuana.

Collectively, 143 criminal arrest warrants and 15 search warrants were issued in this undercover operation.

The success of the operation can be attributed to the coordinated effort of several units and agencies:

    • Mason, Sully, and Mount Vernon Police District Stations
  • Town of Herndon Police Department
  • Department of Public Safety Communications

  • Fairfax County Office of the Sheriff
  • City of Alexandria Police Department
  • United States Marshals Service
  • United States Postal Inspector’s Office
  • Northern Virginia Cigarette Tax Board
  • Northern Virginia Gang Task Force
  • Virginia Alcohol Beverage Control

The following people were arrested:

  1. (No Photo) Juvenile, currently 18, Alexandria area, charged with
    distribution of marijuana, distribution of stolen property, burglary,
    distribution of a stolen gun.
  2. Mohamed Abubaker
    Mohamed Abubaker, 20, 431 North Armistead Street, Alexandria, charged
    with distribution of marijuana in a school zone and possession with
    intent to distribute.
  3. Moustafa Moustafa
    Moustafa Moustafa, 44, 3701 South George Mason Drive, Falls Church,
    charged with money laundering and four counts of receiving stolen
    property.
  4. Erving Pabon Erving Pabon, 19, 7352 Pohick Way, Lorton, charged with distribution of marijuana.
  5. Walid Essediq
    Walid Essediq, 25, 6004 Edsall Road, Alexandria, charged with
    transporting stolen property and receiving stolen property.
  6. Ashraf Salmi
    Ashraf Salmi, 41, 5800 Quantrell Avenue, Alexandria, charged with
    credit card fraud, check fraud, money laundering, selling credit card
    information from a scan device, two counts of credit card theft and six
    counts of receiving stolen property.
  7. Hesham Ibrahim Elnakhal
    Hesham Ibraham Elnakhal, 48, 3705 South George Mason Drive, Falls
    Church, charged with money laundering, selling stolen property and two
    counts of receiving stolen property.
  8. Leeban Hamud
    Leeban Hamud, 20, 5505 Seminary Road, Falls Church, charged with
    attempted malicious wounding and petit larceny.
  9. Ryan Williams
    Ryan Williams, 22, 6445 Eighth Street, Alexandria, charged with
    receiving stolen property, selling stolen property, distribution of
    marijuana and two counts distribution of cocaine.
  10. Julia Hanson-Takyi
    Julia Hanson-Takyi, 21, 7747 Grandwind Avenue, Lorton, charged with
    selling stolen property, distribution of marijuana, distribution of
    cocaine and receiving stolen property.
  11. Sharon Embaye Sharon Embaye, 19, 621 North Howard Street, Alexandria, charged with three counts of distribution of marijuana.
  12. Kwame Garnette
    Kwame Garnette, 18, 6710 Metropolitan Center Drive, Springfield,
    charged with transporting stolen property and distribution of stolen
    property.
  13. Antwan Smith Antwan Smith, 18, 6412 Edsall Road, Alexandria, charged with distribution of ecstacy.
  14. Ruben Charlemagne
    Ruben Charlemagne, 19, Hyattsville, Maryland, charged with destruction
    of monument, assault, distribution of marijuana, distribution of
    oxcycodone, distribution of cocaine, transportation of cocaine, three
    counts of receiving stolen property and three counts of selling stolen
    property.
  15. Chaya Nabil
    Nabil Chaya, 40, 6018 Bitternut Drive, Alexandria, charged with
    receiving stolen property and selling stolen property.
  16. Amin Maknassi
    Amin Maknassi, 19, 5031 Domain Place, Alexandria, charged with selling
    credit card information from a scan device and three counts of stolen
    credit cards.
  17. Mohamed Ziad
    Mohamed Ziad, 20, 20852 Isherwood Terrace, Ashburn, charged with three
    counts of selling stolen property, three counts of receiving stolen
    property, four counts of selling stolen credit cards and two counts of
    receiving stolen credit cards.
  18. Baha Khasawneh
    Baha Khasawneh, 20, 13211 Kilby Landing Court, Clifton, charged with
    receiving stolen property and selling stolen property.
  19. Leandro Zavala Leandro Zavala, 24, 204 Denfield Avenue, Alexandria, charged with possession of firearm by a convicted felon.

    credit card, larceny of mail (checks).

  1. I wonder if they have evidence that money was going to Zakat to help support the Mosque and the ISA.

    If so, this could be an awesome test case for by idea that we ought to be using the RICO Statutes to arrest Jihadists and close down Mosques in the United States.
