Links and news for April 9 2013

Today has been quite a news day. Also I have had a fair amount of video to edit, some of which was posted here today already, and some minor tech issues to sort out. So I wasn’t able to get to all the excellent material that many of you have sent in. Thank you for sending it in any case, Martin, Don L, EDL Buck, RED, and Richard. I will post some links here that look interesting but some I won’t have the chance to really examine first.

Keep in mind that Islam, and for that matter, the contemporary far left has gone so far off the edge of reason that it is sometimes hard to know what is parody and what is fact as I saw with the post Shab sent me claiming that Imadinnerjacket blamed Jews for a plague of Iranian impotence. Why is that any more out there than say, a kindergarten full of young self detonating jihadis?

Anyway some links that at least at first blush seem worthy of examination.

1. Raymond Ibrahim’s analysis on the Islamic attack on the Cathedral in Egypt with photos and the mandatory ‘allahu ackbar’ video as mustards trash a beautiful building full of nice people while the army looks on and yawns.

Muslims burn bible at Egyptian cathedral

2. Little English reintardation complaining that Muslims are treated better in her native Britain (Is this Tony Blair’s sister’s daughter? She has the same lack of features) than they are at the swanky hotel the probably live at for the winter in Egypt. Too much to say for a post it could be a novelette. But it does show that England is far too tolerant. Because when tolerance is a one way street, its more accurately called surrender.

3. Why islamists do not have the right to build mosques etc.

4. Egypt’s Christian pope blasts Islamist president

5. Guy at Lone Star goes on stabbing spree and injures a lot of people. Notice the ultra-post-modern style of cell phone video OF a cell phone video. I wonder if they will start sharp object control and then after that, you will have to go to school in a straight jacket I suppose.

6. Angelina Jolie opens all girls school in Afghanistan. Gotta respect that. I sincerely hope it doesn’t end in tragedy and that she gets the objectives I’m sure we all want. My suspicion is that it won’t end well based on numerous reports from people I know who served there. But I do admire a celebrity who is putting up a lot of work and money for what is indeed the right cause. Depending of course, on what they teach there.

7. Is this a joke, or not. “It has been widely speculated, that the first ever joke, was the passing of wind”

8. MIT Researches say they are studying electro hydro-dynamic thrust.

Imagine an aircraft that is silent, invisible to infrared detectors, has zero emissions and can hover in an eerie manner that helicopters can’t. Now imagine it coming from technology currently used to suck dust out of living room air. That’s what a team of researchers at MIT is doing. They’ve conducted a study that indicates that ionic thrusters, currently a science fair curiosity, might one day take to the skies.

9. Tiny Tunisian tykes with toy triggers

10. Look what the US gave to Al Queda led rebels.

  1. Angelina Jolie has opened a girls school in Afghanistan. Good for her. Her heart is in the right place. But if the school is blown up or the students murdered will she go George Clooney on us and demand the U.S. military do something?

And this after supporting every Democrat who ever took an axe to the Defense budget.

  2. In the first video, the young girl dressed as if she has just appeared in the school nativity play, well, she sounds terribly British. Do we know anymore about her? Is she the delinquent result of converted White parents?

My own comments here (about the school nativity play) have also made me want to mention an important fact, or at least I believe it be a fact, because I forget the source of my info.
Did you know that the reason that we portray Mary, mother of Jesus as being clad in tents and head scarf just like a Muslim, is because when portrayals of Christian and Jewish figures became popular (in the Middle Ages), the artists were influenced by the descriptions of women at the time, and because the Holy land had already been conquered and enslaved by Islam, the hijab and burqa had already become commonplace, not just amongst Muslim women but also amongst Jewish and Christian women who covered their modesty through fear of being raped or harrassed by their Muslim masters.
It’s worth remembering that Islam has had such a big impact on the World that it has even distorted our images of history!

  3. Eeyore: I seriously did not know that. The woman herself (Lauren Booth) is a moron. This woman did not even know that the pirate Mohammed married a six-year old girl and when asked about it she claimed that it was a lie.

  4. Of course, don’t forget that Islam has co-opted many Christian and Jewish affects. Including head coverings, call to prayer in the form of muezzin as cantor, and circumcision. Paul indicated in his writings that women should have their heads covered, and stressed modest attire over the more ostentatious Hellenic adornments of his day.

  5. Of course, the little white “Muslim” girl is British and just another tool in the hands of cowardly adults. Did you see the look on her face after she finished her faux outrage? How long will these idiots remain Muslim when the raping gets underway, I wonder?

  6. A pogrom has been declared against Egypt’s Christians, it will soon turn into a genocide.

I don’t agree with everything the man said about Islamists having no right to build Mosques but his arguments to merit having lawyers look into them.

Where are the MSM with calls for knife control?

  7. That Inoic Thruster has a lot of potential if the problems can be over come, technology is moving in directions this give us hope for its success.
