That is right, as the financial crisis worsens we will see more demonstrations/riots all around the world.
They are bankrupt but they still find money to finance the Muslim Brotherhood though:
EU approves 5.0 bn euro financial aid package to Egypt
CAIRO — The European Union has approved a 5.0 billion euro ($6.4 billion) financial aid package to Egypt after its economy was battered by a 2011 uprising that toppled Hosni Mubarak,
EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton told a press conference in Cairo the Europeans would “provide additional loans and grants worth about 5 billion euros.”
Two hundred million euros will be “immediately available” for budget support,
The European Investment Bank will grant Egypt 2.0 billion euros and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development a further 2.0 billion euros, while EU countries will come up with 1.0 billion euros, the presidency said
[...]Egyptian Finance Minister Mumtaz Said said last week that Egypt may reach a loan deal with the International Monetary Fund next month for $4.5 billion, instead of the $4.8 that Cairo had hoped for.

The Greeks need 6 Billion to feed themselves and now 5 billion to Eqypt?
I am with the rioters, but only if the protest was because they know that their govt is sending money abroad, money that can be used at home. I wonder if they know that … I doubt it.
Martin says:
“EU approves 5.0 bn euro financial aid package to Egypt”
What the hell are they thinking? They actually believe the money is going to stop war with Israel or what? it is most likely what they were told and the EU bought it
Something going on in Jordan :
students are using the Roman/Greek method of defensive attack. Brilliant effort. They now need to use the Greek Phalanx in attack formation, the Police wouldn’t know what hit them, they would be in shock for days if not weeks. Although I’m usually wary of student activism, in this case, I’ll go with the students against the EU Spain government rip off merchants.
From what I saw there were protesting cuts in welfare, not the EU or the government raising taxes.
