My question is this, if the CIR was invited to speak before the Standing Committee by the government and the Standing Committee is made up of a majority of Conservatives, then how did they manage to ban the CIR? What about free speech in Canada? I know Mulclair put out a call to have them banned but he should not wield that much power. What the hell happened?

Please note: These are the people you should also contact anytime you write to Harper or Kenney or the government about immigration issues.

  2. Again, why concentrate on immigration, which will be considered hypocritical by many Canadians, instead of concentrating on dismantling Islam in its “home” countries? The internal workings of Saudi or other Gulf Arab societies are more than interesting. If the British could take Canada from the French, and the French could take Canada from the Huron, Ojibwe and Cree, why couldn’t the Dutch take Hejaz, Najd and Khaleej from the Arabs? Religion is a very powerful force.

  3. So basically these impotent little slugs who are elected by dumb brained citizens, have the veto on free speech and thought….they can decide who they will hear from to support their point of view, and then call that an investigation committee on what Canadians think about immigration issues and multiculturialism…..

The usual joke about how things are done in research studies at the Universities, and in all standing committees on all levels of bureaocracies, all levels of government and all levels of infrastructure…

    Is this really a surporise?

I hope Jason Kenney takes the report from this crackpot group of idiots and just shits on it……
meanwhile continuing to make changes that will protect the culture we value and still hope to save .

    Write to Jason Kenney, Ja**********@pa**.ca

  4. Thank you VladTepes. Freedom of Speech is a fundamental right of each and every human being. We have to stand firm on the “I might disagree with what you say but I will defend to death your right to say it.”
If you read through the document the Lussiers had prepared for presentation to the Standing Committee on Immigration & Citizenship, you will note that they had many, many concepts that many of us had not thought about before. I know I hadn’t. There was nothing in it to offend anyone, nothing.
Moreover, Madi Lussier is undergoing cancer treatment which means hospital stays every now and then … in spite of that, she and her husband worked for weeks on behalf of us who are concerned about the wrong kind of immigration Canada is seeing and made it to the hearings…. only to be slandered and insulted by the NDP’s Jinny Sims (born in India) and the Willowdale, Toronto, Conservative MP (born in Taiwan). Their website Canadian Immigration Report was labelled as “disgusting” and “hateful” and the time allocated for their presentation and question/answer period was given to the person next on the agenda.

This is our new Canada. I request your Canadian readers to please take a few moments to write to Jason Kenney, your own MP, and as many MPs in our government about this horrendous injustice done to the Lussiers. It might have been them who were slandered and banned from free speech on Sep 27, but chances are it might be the rest of us with blogs, or not, in the near future.

If we don’t stand up and defend free speech (does not matter what kind it is, the govt. does not have a right to censor it) we are lost for good.
